how to fix green screen playback on web browser like chrome & firefox audio work fine but video display only green color. just only in video playback.

Just u plug hdmi and put back in handshake on some tv goofy.

Some fixes coming as us testers might have missed some things. Super Celeron has not fired us yet so everything still good. Expect a update in a few weeks or when we get around to it. Can everyone enjoy what he has been produced and leave the wants/needs must have and apk concerns and comments until hes had time to perfect the master piece please. Pretty sure everyone in a better place with his latest release. Lets let the COOK COOK!!!! (whew no spelling mistakes lol)

I sadly have to go back to Kodi, loading the EPG in FTMC takes over an hour while in Kodi it takes less than a minute. (I will record it with my phone some day, if it is of any use)

I'm not sure what losing amcodec entails. Like is it quite a performance difference? (which I'm not noticing atm, but yeh could be in a field where I'm not yet playing in)

Tho I do notice that Moana (AVC video DTS 6 ch audio) lost sound in normal Kodi.

Well i found some 1 nasty bug( Thks scooter2014 ) in this and atv one, so im going to make a OTA in a few days for both, and i rls a build in this one where you can the default launcher...

one problem I have found is minecraft games timing out or locking up and I get a not responding wait or quit message and sometimes it locks up so I have to pull the power . my granddaughter loves to play these games on my box

Hi there,

I have one of these boxes, which is DDR 4 ram and I cut a hole to get access to the other two USB ports.
My box came with 7.1.2 firmware which crashed a lot. My box has now been flashed with Superceleron firmware SCV4 7.1.2.
This firmware is running great.

I have found few apps that would crash the system and then return to the launcher screen.
Here are the following that i found:

1. Once clicked on music icon it shows a black screen and then crashes back to the launcher.
2. When I power up the system with the wireless mouse usb and R8Ii keyboard & mouse the system would freeze or restart couple of times (three times).I am using hard wire from modem.
3. Mini opera will sometimes crash while scrolling from google store.
4. Angry birds space would freeze on the first run from google store.
5. The Live net tv app would crash few times.
6. Kodi 17.4 would sometime crash, I am going to start using FTMC soon.
7. Need to test Playstation 3 pad worked fine on default firmware.
8. When I power up the system it loads three time before I can use the box properly.
9. Can't boot into recovery with reboot app.

The designs and effort are clean and professional looking.
The mouse cursor is super speedy.
Turning off LED light nice touch.

Really Nice to have Youtube play 4k again...alas ..any skip ahead or pausing leaves black video with sound playing.
Youtube and Mx player failed ..after sleep mode? and reboot was required to watch any type of video.

Html-5 browser video will play after some buffer/lag time...otherwise green video.
Chrome address bar exhibits (briefly) double mouse cursor upper left had corner (not as terrible as stock first version firmware....uugh)

Probably an issue with my cable router....after 8+ hours sleep mode a fresh reboot shows about a 15% decrease in wifi latency(2 day trial)

Installing SPMC 16.8rc1 was a fail...repos...dependencies /addons fail to install...ended copying over setup from USB stick. ( Magisk or Android 7 issue ?)
Amlogic Hardware Accel and 4K plays the best since...ages.

Sorry not a fan of locked launchers.


I did not try SCV3
Is it possible to downgrade to SCV3 OTA firmware? Maybe later upgrade to SCV4 OTA fix?

Overall tanks to superceleron for incredible support.

Built in youtube crash when write some thing in search bar of youtube and also no manual selection of picture resolution

Deny microphone access and it wont crash again, if you already did give access to it go to settings/apps and then chose youtube and then disable the access to the microphone in permissions!
