(Sorry, I would normally have tested this first on my own hardware, but I just got my only remaining M8S Pro L box configured as my main living room media player and am trying to avoid having to repeat that effort. This script usually handles the system partition already being mounted just fine, so something else must be causing the "Device or resource busy" error.)

The fix for the link above just corrects an error in the OEM update script which prevents it from installing on units that don't have stock recovery. It would actually revert you to the 20170918.111557.V0619 OEM release.
I am saving it just in case ...

Can Magendanz or anyone please weigh in here, my box keeps going off after being idle for a while, say overnight, and i have to unplug and plug it back in to switch it on. Both my mini m8s ii and alfawise S92 stays on even when i leave them idle for two days straight, I have checked and rechecked the backdrop settings etc, don't know where am getting it wrong, Any and all help will be appreciated.
