                  It's failing to mount the existing system partition. Did you wipe it?

                  (Sorry, I would normally have tested this first on my own hardware, but I just got my only remaining M8S Pro L box configured as my main living room media player and am trying to avoid having to repeat that effort. This script usually handles the system partition already being mounted just fine, so something else must be causing the "Device or resource busy" error.)

                  Well, that explains it. It's hard to check the build properties on a partition that's been wiped. I'll need to make a special .zip file just for you that removes all environment checks, so let's move this discussion to private message.

                    The fix for the link above just corrects an error in the OEM update script which prevents it from installing on units that don't have stock recovery. It would actually revert you to the 20170918.111557.V0619 OEM release.

                  Useful if you need to revert to OEM for some reason ! Say a warranty issue ?

                    Yes, thankfulness is always good but on to more important subjects, do you think Magendanz is sleeping right now? Maybe just napping? Resting with his eyes closed? Please tell us, we can't stand the anxiety.

                    Can Magendanz or anyone please weigh in here, my box keeps going off after being idle for a while, say overnight, and i have to unplug and plug it back in to switch it on. Both my mini m8s ii and alfawise S92 stays on even when i leave them idle for two days straight, I have checked and rechecked the backdrop settings etc, don't know where am getting it wrong, Any and all help will be appreciated.

                      That's odd, since mine has been sitting there with the blue light on for days without a problem. Could it be receiving an HDMI CEC power down signal from another device?

                      Guest , both my box and Tv HDMI CEC is set to off, so am kind of confused where that signal, if indeed it is a signal is coming from. I will probably go with Dope101 01 and be using the remote to turn it back on until i figure it out.
