In the meantime, nobody can tell me if Amazon Prime Video ever works with the M8S Pro L (any firmware/hardware configuration)?

No, Amazon prime doesn't work with any versions of this box. What you can do to watch Amazon contents is to install the Amazon prime Vod addon into Kodi Leia 18: You can find the procedure I posted somewhere in this forum. Through this addon the video quality is up to FHD, but the audio will only be stereo.

Do you have played a full movie or only a trailer? I'm asking this because on my m8s primevideo app plays only the trailer but gives a connection error when I try to play a full movie...

m8s pro L (LB) with voice remote stock firmware. I can't remember the version of prime video and have just test it (not full movie)

my amazon prime have finished
just in case test with unrooted device or hide this. I use mycanal for TV and have freeze with root. have rename the su file on old.su in system/bon and system/xbin folder and it work.
As soon i have the time. I think tested magisk

Does Google cast work in this room with any apps other than YouTube? The device gets recognized by any apps supporting chromecast, but I can only beam youtube from the phone to the box

Ok, if i install LB rom on my LQ box what (bad) will happend i dont use wifi and blueboot, will bluetooth be bigest problem since you cant skip setup screen, if this is true then can we use twrp rom backup that already have this skipped. And ofc will drm be perserved in this case and is it possible to go back to stock or custom LQ rom after

Any chances for a custom rom for LB version? In the latest OTA update videostrong ruined bluetooth remote after sleep mode. When you wake up box from sleep mode - remote disconects, need to unpair-pair to work or reboot. When using power off mode - it reconects fine.

Yes the latest Youtube update freezes, just roll back to the one before.

Hello, sorry for the novice question, I installed this "Mecool M8S Pro L Stock & Nano Nexus ROM" rom, and I wanted to switch to TVStock. Is it enough to update the OTA version via system update or do I need to install the BURN version?

Yes I've uninstalled the updates on stock rom and YouTube runs okay at 1080p but at 4k it pays good for 30 seconds then the audio goes out of sink. Think I'll flash this rom after I've tested the stock to the max still only had it for 1 day got a raspberry pi fan arriving tomorrow so I'll see how it goes after I've modded the heat issue going to build my own lid to better accommodate the pi fan and give the box a custom shell to better reflect the custom nature of the hole box
