And as such won't be able to get past the set up screen wehere you are required to pair the bluetooth on the remote.

It also doesn't help that the chef of this ROM has been MIA for a few months now.

Technically it should be an easy fix, kinda just swapping out files from the current version of this ROm and replacing them with the stock wifi/blutooth files in the stock rom to ensure compatibility with the LB devices. But unfortunately I have no idea how to build or package a ROM.
Thanks for the response don't think I'll be flashing unt I know it's going to work on the box I have. It's no biggie I've got other boxes to play with Pity about the dev being away but I'll keep an eye out for any further update. With regards to the YouTube app I had to uninstall the updates to get stable playback but it will do 4k without issue as long as I have active cooling running at about 59-65C again thanks

The strangest thing is happening with regards to my stock youtube app. I can't uninstall updates anymore even though I had done it before the darn thing updated itself again. Now when I try to do that my box just reboots and boom..... its not only right there but its enabled again cause now I have it disabled to avoid any conflicts with the youtube app I am using.

I have even considered doing a factory reset then seeing if I can uninstall it then.

Have you tried uninstalling it via Titanium Backup or Root App deleter?

I haven't tried root app deleter, but I have tried ES file explorer and some other system app uninstaller I had. They keep rebooting the device.

Must not be as easy a fix as you think.Megandanz has already tried doing this and not had much success. He has as you say been MIA since.nor has any other custom rom developer come forward with any solutions.perhaps it was a deliberate action for Mecool to prevent custom development of there widevine L1 boxes.i don't really know.so at the moment only the stock rom works with the LB version.with regard to DPI settings it is generally considered that midway between 240 and 320 is best.

Yeah you are right, was kinda ignorant of me to suggest that its probably an easy fix cause if there is anything I know about these things is that nothing is ever as easy as it seems. In truth, what you may actually have to do may really be easy but the hard part is finding out what you even have to do to begin with... and even worse where (and where else) you may have to do it in.

As for the DPI settings, I did read a couple of people settling for 280 as their sweetspot, but to me I think it boils down to elligability. Which basically comes down to your physical TV size and distance from it. Long story short, YMMV. Cause right now my DPI is set at 200. Anything smallet and I think stuff is too small and anything bigger and i feel I am wasting space, another benefit of this is that I need to do less scrolling.

How can I make an external wifi adapter work with this box? Will I have to recompile the kernel and if so does anyone have the kernel source with them for testing?

I asked too but I have not gotten a return so far.

Hello! Please, if you can count on opinions on the subject, thank you in advance. Would it be nice to replace the installed wifi antenna of the M8S PRO L with another, based on the video below? My TV box is distant about 5 meters from the modem of the operator and is unable to receive the signal

Did you watch the video I left as an information base? There, it is advised to replace the wifi antenna of the TV box with another using a pigtail terminal and make an adaptation on the housing (this part seems to be a headache for a mecool m8s pro L). would we really have significant signal improvement? Thankful.

Oh! I'm sorry, I hope you find a solution.

Seems the latest YouTube for ATV update does NOT solve the crash problem... Don't know what the developers are doing with this update.

Well...... that sucks. Guessing this is a videostrong issue then, and those guys don't seem to be pushing any more updates out anymore.

Probably not an issue with VS. I saw lots of complaint in the review section of YT for ATV in google play.
