How to install this rom coz I just got my imito qx1 and it crashes when I launch internet browser. I have stock firmware with no updates. Do I need to have the device plugged into hdmi when doingthe update or flashing custom rom?

Download the Rom, and read the readme file inside the zip for instructions.

How to flash the iMito QX1

Hi:

How do I flash the iMito QX1 i am using Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit. I try flash it by using a pin and OTG port and i does work and the computer says it can't recognized the device, I also try install the drivers for it but not luck.

I also try the usbmass and debugging and when I use a pin to click the reset button i don't hear or feel any clicking.

Can you please help.

The flash tool can't recognize it BECAUSE you didn't get the Windows drivers installed... so that is where you start.

I can't help with the reset button issue you are having... I had no such problem and it is also required so your device is in the proper mode to flash. I will say it is a micro switch and I feel the click but don't really hear it.

If you use the Finless Bob Flash Tool you don't need to use the pin. Is there any other ways to install the drivers for the iMito QX1.

If that doesn't do it... just a pointer... Don't be so brief in your description of what you are doing and give the exact error messages... what you've given up till now isn't cutting it. Technical issues require technical details to overcome... don't expect someone else to psychically figure it out for you, it doesn't work that way in most cases.

Feel free to use the forum search function for other possible ideas for your Windows 8 issues.

Others have had issues and ended up using a different version of Windows ( and drivers ) to get around it instead of actually getting them installed properly on their Win8/Win8.1
