I noticed others port minix 7 firmware to tronsmart devices.
Minix x7 firmwate don't use sdk2. It was released only in some tablets.

Thanks for your work for the QX1! I have just come back from a long holiday and was wondering if i should install 1.5 and a custom kernel or if 1.6 is on its way soon? I know you guys are very busy with all the variations of TV sticks.
      Thanks again.

I just start to port the last minix kernel sources released to phjanderson by minix to fit in our qx1. So New custom kernels will be uploaded soon(I hope), and I have a new Rom almost ready. Bob is on vacations this week, but he had 1.6 almost ready, so I think he will release it to qx1 too soon.

                Newbie Help

Just got the QX1 and flashed with the most recent non-oc 1080p fw. Unfortunately there is no audio what so ever. Under setting the Rockwood Output device is enabled.

                Any suggestions.

                Thanks,
                Art

                  Problem with some 3D games

                  Hi,
Since I got the Imito QX1 I have some issues with certain 3D games, such as shadowgun, Temple Run, CSR Racing Etc.
The games start, but in the first main menu I can't use the game- It's like the games don't recognize my controller at all.
I use an airmouse, but using the keyboard mode and the Ipega gamepad didn't help either.
I updated the rom to the Finless 1.5 hoping it will solve the problem but it didn't.2D games and simpler games such as fruit Ninja and Candy Crush and all the basic apps work well.
Help me play all the better looking games!
                  Thanks!

CYM3R, have you tried different kernels? Does anyone know the current best rom and kernel combo as I really want to use this stick.

                      Hi Silverback,
as of now I've tried the Stock ROMS (latest 4.2.2) and the Finless ROM with the 1080p stock Kernel.
I must admit there are some problems with the Finless 1.5 ROM, I crushes from time to time and there is the problem with some touch based apps (that problem also occurred with the stock ROM .
I've tried installing Bluez IME but apparently there is a BT problem with the ROM.
Having say that, Videos are working well.
The solution I found is installing ShareKM (available on the play store for free) and you can use your PC mouse and keyboard on the AMP.
Hope I helped, if you know of any other solution or a good ROM please post.

I am just patiently waiting for a new Finless ROM and new Kernels from Leolas. If only there was a way round the wireless reboot issue. I have not really used my stick due to the issues. Anyone know of the current 'best' ROM and kernel combo?

I just want to take the time and say how appreciative I am to Finless Bob and leolas for developing for the Imito QX1. This is my first android mini pc and I'm really impressed with what they are capable of. Despite the issues that the Imito QX1 has, Finless and leolas have done a phenomenal job getting the most out of the device. I eagerly await any new firmwares that you might release. There are some of us who are still very supportive of the Imito QX1 and the work you two do, as well as any other party involved. Please keep us in mind when developing. We're very thankful for what you do!

I second what has been said above. Thanks to your work so far my imito is now 95% a useable movie playing device. I can stream online movies and play from hard drive with mx player. My goal is to have a fully working xbmc installation using its native xbmc player so I can control everything within xbmc from my iphone with remote app.
Bluetooth is not so vital to me as I have no devices, although the choice would be great when considering purchasing extra hardware, controllers, mouse/keyboards etc.

currently using bob 1.4 with default settings that came with the rom package. (Leolas frame skip fix and 720p non OC)

I am currently running Finless 1.4a with 720 oc kernel (not the extreme one) this has been running perfectly for me apart from the wifi reboot option (dont want to upset Leolas by mentioning it again. ) I did have many reboot issues which i put down to either to oc kernel being too much for my stick so i tried all versions. Then i thought it was the power supply so i bought an official Galaxy S4 charger (5v 2amp) which seemed to sort out a few problems but i was still having reboots randomly. I found it to be my controller, which is exactly like this one - http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Multi...rd-318903.html

As soon as i started using a basic usb mouse all my reboot issues stopped. Anyone else that has had this issue?

Also, has there been any breakthrough with Sixaxis compatibility as i cannot connect my official ps3 pad via bluetooth. Can i use a Bluetooth usb dongle?

Any latest news on a 1.6 rom Finless? New kernels Leolas?

Thanks for your support for this stick. Much appreciated.
