Sixaxis / Plex issues

Hello everyone and a big thks to Bob for his great work. For the record i still can't connect my PS3 controller wtih sixaxis app, Plex doesn't play my movies (black screen) and stutters with my RF airmouse.

As for sixaxis APP, please try using the Tincore APP I bet it works for you!

Bluetooth does not work for me. Logcat shows a very short generic error from bluedroid, GKI_LINUX process, GKI_Exception on both threads (bluetooth and a2DP) with No extra info on it. Searching for bluetooth devices does not work, but turning bluetooth on and off seems to work, even if it is useless as I cannot pair anything if I cannot search for devices.

This happens with all different kernels provided with this ROM. I was previously using the ROM from arctablet (Imito derived) with no BT problems so I have no clue if Finless 1.4 had working BT as I have not tested it.

play store issue

When I install any pinyin app, the play store crush. I have to clear the play store app data then it back to normal.

Hi Bob,

running smooth now... no sudden freezes yet today! jeeej!

got a question though... when opening the app drawer, the brightness turns down a lot... It's almost unreadable... Same thing in the standard browser. The strange thing is the fact that if I hoover over a picture with a lot of brightness, the tekst also gets a lot brighter... So if there is no brightness in a page, the page is dark and hard to read... The same applies to a dark background on desktop. Then the icons are hard to see, because the device/rom/dunno changes the brightness to dark...

It's a bit hard to explain, but do you know what I'm talking about? Does anyone else experience this? And maybe more important... is it solvable?

I had problem similar to this, but it was with my pc hooked up to the tv. It turned out that the TV had a auto-brightness setting that was enabled, and it took me weeks to figure out that was the problem. Check to see if your TV has the same setting. As for the QX1, I haven't noticed this problem on mine, and I'm running Finless 1.5. Hope you get it solved!

Just wanted to say thank you. I really appreciate all the work that must go into making these ROMs. I am having a problem with Netflix and Finless 1.5. Picture is fine but I don't have any sound. Sound is working in all other apps as far as I can tell. I have had a few crashes, but I think they are linked to the app I was using. Oh and is there a way to change the loading screen?

When you first fire up Netflix sometimes no audio. If you move the volume slider in Netflix (not Android) that turns it on. This is a Netflix APP bug.

Netflix has still been buggy. I went at most 40 minutes into a video before losing audio or having a freeze. I then couldn't start a new video until I got completely out of the app. I installed the framework fix to trick netflix into thinking it's android 4.0.

It seems to be working well, but the quality doesn't seem as sharp.

Thanks Bob, for all the work you've put into this.

The problem is that we need sixaxis not for mapping, but to pair a ps3 controller.

At least with 1.5 with a leolas 1080p OC kernel, bluetooth is really buggy. It won't search for new devices except when you turn bluetooth on. Even then, items won't pair the first time.

I believe that's why the sixaxis app isn't working right. Anyone get it to work with the other kernels?

Edit: tinkered a bit with the tv settings... adjusted the brightness a bit.... Looks much better!

Bob, any rough estimate for 1.6 version? I was thinking of skipping 1.5

And any love for CWM flashable roms?
