Unstability & Bugs


I have flashed new v1.5 ROM and there:
- QX1 has restarted on first start of Internet browser, on second start stayed stable
- Browser crashes/stick restarts when I'm trying to register/connect it to my Google account
- Youtube do not installs over/from Play Store "package error" and do not installs from downloaded APK
- Dropbox to do not installs over Play Store "package error"

Also there to much random system restarts
Mainly system runs faster and etc.
In case that there NO Youtube and NO Browser connection/syncing with my account and to much random restarts I have returned back to stock firmware with choppy video playback

Looking forward for new releases

so far the Rom is pretty good! Playback in Youtube over Wifi is still choppy and and 720p over Wifi is also not working very good! And no it's not my connection @ home

Antutu is working fine, Facebook too! Had just 1 restart so far.

Which USB to Ethernet Adapter works on that device??

Thank you for making this Bob. I really appreciate it. I've had a few freezes and random restarts but still its a big improvement over the previous stock firmware.

I'm having exactly the same behaviour on both the 720OC and 1080OC kernel. I've been using it last night for quite some hours but had several random restarts while watching movies/netflix, then I had to power cycle it again because of the wifi reboot bug, i've also had sometimes that it didn't restart but the screen just went black "No display"...

Is there any log i can check to see why it's suddenly going black or rebooting?

This is the first rom I have used that performs anything like what I believe Imito/ Tronsmart etc should have shipped as stock in the first place.

I have fairly simple requirements from these hd sticks and it mainly involves watching tv and movies " a basic function for a hd tv stick I think" but something Imito, Tronsmart and most of the rest failed to tell us they were incapable of doing properly, before taking our money and leaving us with video jittering ,netflix hating , overheating, under powered pieces of poo

However I now have a perfectly good stick, no stutter etc and its thanks to the likes of BOB, Leolas and others plugging away at this and I thank you all sincerely for your time and efforts because I was really close to throwing it in the bin at one point .

Had a couple of crashes but nothing too major. XBMC/Navi X etc runs brilliantly, really quick to load.
If anyone gets a Market error/crash clear your account in settings, enter it again and it runs fine after this.

I still have frame problems with Youtube and HD...also with this Rom! And playing 720p over Wifi is not possible. With my AMD E350 Windows PC no Problem at all...

Super Rom

I tried this last night worked like af charm - XBMC runned smooth in 720p no lack what so ever.

Used the standard settings - kernel720p-30-07-2013, Boot image: boot720.

I will try it further tonight.

Thanks for the feedback to all people, if you use overclocked kernels and your stick reboots, please change to the non overclocked version. Not all processors can be overclocked the same.
I am out of home for indeterminate days, when I return home I will make a new round of kernels.
Remember too that stock PSU usually is bad, so if you experiment reboots with the stock kernel, replace it, search in the forum abot PSU reported and recommended for people.

Did you erased IDB before the flash?

Yes I did.
Also counted/waited till 2048, like described on README FIRST.txt

I have now tried the OC kernels on both 720 and 1080 and both of these end up either rebooting the device or giving me the 'no display' on my tv. I have tried the non-oc versions and these also reboot and i cannot connect to wifi. Not tried with the default standard kernel as of yet but would rather wait for leolas to do his magic.I have followed the instuctions fully and also have erased the IDB on all reflashes.

I tryed this rom to mk809iii but it dont works. Can you port it to mk809iii old wifi chip?
I want to play gameloft games here, but it is not working. It starts a bootloop and freeze at gameloft logo
I found one rom that works my games but it is with touchscreen bug and i cant play xbmc
