hello. nice work! but it seems that the beelink lighthome launcher that you modified it does not work well on the beelink gt1 ultimate
(the power controlls from the remote are crashing the launcher on the latest beelink 7.1.2 firmware) the original lighthome launcher 1.1.2 is working perfect

kodi link works fine
had to directy replace apk and set permissions due to different signing key ofc

did you zip align the apk?

also something which would be nice if your bored some time
if you replace youtube with the leanback 2.01.04 the youtube shortcut doesnt work with it
due to a slight difference in the naming
the leanback apk defaults to 4k btw..
but has the downside of not being able to use a mouse

ok test this file if it resolve the youtube.tv issue. by the way do you have other launcher in your box or TWRP just in case you need use file manager to replace the orignal one if you got stuck? cuz I'm changing the source and can't test it.

k2 doesnt work with the old 1.3.11 youtube apk or 2.01.04
2.01.04 is armv8 if that makes a diff

no i dont have another launcher
but its ok im just installing over the top of k1
as the signing is the same at worst i will have to factory it

k1 works fine with 1.3.11 btw its just nice to have the choice of 2.01.04

think it has the same id as 2.01.04

Yep 2.02.08 which I'm also using "com.google.android.youtube.tv" it should work. What happens when you click or select ... because click and touch/select have different behavior in source.
also uninstall the appstore's youtube if installed and check the behavior. i'll make some more changes and see where the problem is.

its always been that way 1.3.11 that the box comes with works fine with the stock launcher
if you update youtube.tv it doesnt work
mouse click on it or remote select click both do nothing with the newer builds

i can ofc use the stock icon in apps and it works fine
but the large youtube shortcut hard coded doesnt work
