Thanks a lot for this great rom Finless.

I would like to report some problems I detected when I moved from stock rom to Finless 1.5 rom :
      - My AZERTY bluetooth keyboard is set in QUERTY, even if choose "french" language in android settings and set input devices to french, even after reboot (virtual keyboard is fine, displayed in AZERTY)

      - I'm unable to find the application "bbox tab" in Google Play (this is an application for viewing french TV channels on tablets), I was able to find it using stock rom.
=> Fixed the problem by finding direct google play link to the application on the web

      - With Explorer application, I can't find all my networks devices, it doesn't display my NAS (Synology), I could see and connect to it with stock rom (there was a window that says searching for SMB devices or something like that, and I don't have this one on your rom)
=> Fixed the problem by installing the new es explorer application, and in this one I can see and browse all my network devices

Beside this points I'm a noob on android, so I could miss something ... but I was able to do that with stock rom so ...

      Thanks

I use Archos (may favourite) plus Dice, MX etc etc. All of my 1080p videos play perfectly on my Nexus 7 / Galaxy S3.
Yes, I can confirm this. Also tried an S3 and Nexus 7 and additionally a Nexus 4, LG P936 and a cheap dualcore android box. Streaming from my NAS is without a problem with all those devices.
But with the X7 I do not get fluent video with the same content, no matter which player I use. I have tried:

        MX-Player
        Archos with Codec Addon
        Diceplayer
        XBMC latest nightly with libstagefright

        even Stockplayer.

I did a fresh install of 1.5 with 1080p Kernel, Screen Mode set to 1080p/60.
Will try the "set 24p refresh rate" tipp next

          Bob,

I rolled back to the Launcher2.old and got the search bar back but it still is missing the Power Off menu option.

                It's this one:

No XBMC Libstagefright, but with MXPlayer or the Stockplayer, it plays 1080p without stuttering.

I will fix this. I think it's because I used the build.prop from the 8/13 ROM or somehting simple like that.

Merci beaucoup. Je vais quand même demander à Finless si il peut inclure les fichiers qui vont bien en standard pour les clavierrs AZERTY.

Thanks, I will ask to Finless if he can include the required files for physical AZERTY keyboards

@bob- thanx so much for your efforts. I just donate for that. I found 1 issue playing 1080p mkv in 3d in sbs mode. I got a transparent frame-it´s not real 1080p. In up/down mode everything is o.k. 1080p material isn´t so smooth as on my good old Linux sat reveiver with 400 MHz MIPS Prozessor and ridiculous 256 Ram. This reveiver plays all 1080p mkv without any issues including dts downmix from my Qnap NAS server. I think there is to do a lot of finetuning in rk kernel. I used 1080p 60hz and 1080 24fps. This makes no difference for me.
Edit: I am on 720 kernel atm.

                            Hi Finless,

It seems that your roms doesn't support AZERTY physical keyboards (Minix stock rom is fine with AZERTY keyboards), can you include the required files for those keyboards ?

                            Thanks a lot

does anyone else experiences the same silly problem with no boot animation while booting up/ rebooting? it seems that the device goes direct to standby mode, and to bring back the screen i have to press 3 times a button on the remote. (it seems that the HDMI out is on standby)

i had the same issue on 1,4a 1080p, when i edited the build.prop file with the build.prob editor. by manual editing the file (explorer with root) i dont experience such a problem. the same happens with the 1,5 rom (1080p with large fonts/ 720 p) it seems that something in the new rom kills my hdmi!

Sv: NEW - Minix Neo X7 - Finless 1.5 ROM

What is the best screen resolution to choose?
I mostly stream movies or live tv with xbmc.
