80mm Fans (all images - Click for larger)
Simple clip-on back
Cut one set of wires ...
Cut in Half (Cooler + Spare)
Two back legs are taller so swap the taller leg from the spare fan piece.
Gives a slight slope to the front ...
Tape up the wires to give bit of strain relief...
Do a better job than this !
Et voila, a little cooling plinth.
Slope + Air Gap - Side View

Since I have done one without the hole, because the M8S Pro+ has to slits in the bottom plate anyway, and it makes 1°C difference with the hole.
On idle it runs 41°C and with Kodi playing a FHD stream for 90 minutes it's maxing out at 52°C.
I also lowered the feet to 5mm while gluing the fan on the rubber feet of the box, which is about 2mm.
Take note the I put the fan in suction mode, coz blowing will make noise, and runs significant hotter as well
The fans are 20$ for 10 piece, with free shipping on the bay.
Edit, I also have 40x40x11 heat sink mountedYou may only view thumbnails in this gallery. This gallery has 2 photos.2 Photos

My brothers M8S Pro+ now connects via Wi-Fi where before it needed an Ethernet connection.
1x M8S Pro+
Soldering Iron & Solder
Cross head screwdriver
Wire cutters
Leatherman/Pliers
Craft knife
1x 6Db Wi-Fi Antenna (or better) - suitable Dual Band if your box has 2 bands.
1x SMA Pigtail (bare ends for MeCool or plug if you have a little socket on your MB)
Open the box (4x cross head screws behind the little rubber feet)
Click Larger
This is the solder connection (pads look like a socket should be fitted !!)
Click
Cut one slat on the right of the base, just behind, or in front of the middle (Wire cutters/Craft Knife)
Fit in the SMA socket (Leatherman/Pliers)
Solder to the pads, the same as the fitted antenna
- Core to Core Pad ... Screen to Screen Pad
Put back together
Needs two more feet than I have !
