Which CWM recovery works with
MINIX X7 KitKat 4.4.2 CE ( Community Edition 2.1.0 ) ?
I tried to put x7-cwm-recovery mentioned above but it does not work.

Well, did the procedure of updating the ROM and everything went well.
However, after the procedure the device failed to initialize more. I've tried several times and failed. I lost my will MK809III?
Can anyone help me?

mi experiencia positiva después de probar.
Partiendo de un Q7 con mb XT-Q7-V10 con 2gb ram 8 gb rom bt y root en Android 4.2.2 Rom stock con logo R-Box.


Flashear update 7.30 (no la 7.40 que por cierto no funciona nada y el logo es android-tv, por lo que debe ser para otro modelo de mb)


cuando lo tengas todo instalado y en todo caso después del primer inicio de tu nuevo r-box kitkat 4.4.2, realizar root con cualquiera de los métodos correspondientes a kitkat 4.4.2.


entonces al playstore e instalar Arctools, abrir y elegir descargar iFive X2 Android 4.4.2 CWM Recovery by ManuPC. Elegir Instalar apps.


Se reinicia y...


KK 4.4.2 con CWM recovery mediante teclado usb.

my positive experience after testing .
From a Q7 with mb XT- Q7 -V10 with 2GB ram 8 gb rom bt and root on Android 4.2.2 ROM with logo R -Box .

when you have everything installed and in any case after the first start of your new r -box kitkat 4.4.2 , perform root with any of the methods corresponding to kitkat 4.4.2 .

then the playstore and install ArcTools , open and choose to download iFive X2 Android 4.4.2 CWM Recovery by ManuPC . Choose Install apps.

Restarts and ...

i just tried to this on my Q7 (V10). i do get to the CWM screen but nothing works (except reboot system).
unable to mount any thing nor format/backup.

i also tried Androtab's generic, but it doesnt even boot into CWM. (black screen)

any ideas?

Of course install it under your responsability, be sure that you know how to flash it, bla,bla, bla, etc..

Hola Leolas, soy nuevo en el foro , en primer lugar enhorabuena por tu trabajo y luego quería saber si me podrías ayudar con un problema que tengo y me está desesperando:
El caso es que compré un stick tv android Qc802 con chip Rk3188T y rom Android 4.2.2 instalada y kenrel 3.0.36+ y quiero actualizarlo pero antes deseo hacer un backup de forma sencilla de la rom que me viene de fabrica, estoy intentando instalar el CWM pero me es imposible, probé con el método de tu Thread: cwm recovery for rk3188 con el zip para UG007b y el generico pero cuando desde terminal emulator reinicio en recovery , no reinicia solo se apaga. Luego prove a instalar con ArcTools app siguiendo este hilo http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...8-3066-devices y consigo que se reinicie en recovery pero salen estos mensajes:

CWM CAN'T MOUNT ETC ERROR

Leolas please help! I have an 802 mkiv. Stock firmware 4.2.2 new WiFi. Rooted by kingo. Arc tool installed cwm generic. Cwm boots/reboots but gives this error messageDoesn't work for me..i've successfully install CWM, but i get these errors in cwm:E:Can't found misc

E:Can't open cache/recovery/log
E:Can't found misc
E:Can't mount cache/recovery/last_log
E:Can't open cache/recovery/last_log

Any ideas? Do you have custom firmware that I can flash by cwm?

Same thing here. I tried the generic for my mk802IV AP6210, flashed boots ok, but can't do backup. I appreciate if you can do something for this device (if it's possible of course). I can provide logs and can test. Thank you.

Have you successfully got cwm working on your 802 mkiv? I used the arc tool to install cwm it has the list of can't find errors but it does create cwm folder in SD.
