backup from internal flash memory
I think i solved my backup problem.
Booted up my stick's system, put in an external sd card and copied the backup folder to my ext sd card.
But, now i have another question. I flashed leolas's cx-919 recovery cwm image to my stick. Did i lose my original recovery image with that action? And if so, can anyone help me to get one from somewhere?
Or if not, where can i find that recovery image?
Thanks in advance

Thanks in advanceand your stock firmware is on net, so if you reflash your stock Rom, you qill flash your stock recovery too.
Anyway, there is so many clones of those devices, so if I were you, I would keep your xwm recovery backup in a safe place

Is this the way to?...
...have KitKat Beta without an PC for my mk908 II? As it states in first post in the thread?
I´ve made the SuperSu and thats no problem, but how do I do then? I dont understand the "guide".
How do I go to recovery without any buttons on my device. I´ve rooted my phone but that one had physical buttons.
Thanks
Marcus

What should i do, if i flashed recovery image(cx-919 version by leolas) to my stick, but when i want to get into recovery mode on my TV, it gives only a blank screen(with no signal message; hmdi is ok, and tv too, desktop mode works).
I use this rom (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...400-All-in-One) at the moment, because other roms cause flickering to my TV screen.(stock roms either; we have discussed about this problem on other topics already)
Any help how else could i get into recovery mode to flash back my backed up stock rom came with my stick?
Thanks in advance

googled my way here so forgive in wrong section, if a mod could move it tto the right one. I have a bricked atv520, and have gone through the various sd/usb methods of trying to recover. The box has a fixed red light (also flashing blue if ethernet connected) but fails to even attempt to read the card. It is responsive to the on/off button at the back. Geniatech support sent the recovery files but as the cards are not being read it is not of much use.
I have removed the cover and can see the SPI prog interface and I have a usb -> ttl cable at hand, was wondering if anyone had any experience flashing it it this way or if possible to short the NAND ? Thanks in advance.

Recovery error?
I followed the directions for flashing clockwork mod on my cx919. After clicking the flash rom button with only recovery checked a list of commands/actions appeared in the right hand box and it said everything was ok, then my cx919 rebooted. I waited several minutes after the reboot and then disconnected from my pc. Hooked up power to the cx919 and it booted up and ran fine, still with the stock rom (which does not have root) I then turned off the power, held the button on the side for about 6 0r 7 seconds after turning turning the power back on. I got a screen showing the android on his back with a red triangle (with an exclamation point in it) above his open chest. Any ideas on what the problem is?
