      CWM for Q7 (NOT WORKING)

      Hi guys,

I purchased the Q7 model and been dying to get the Clockworkmod recovery.

The current software is still stock and Unrooted.

i downloaded the image file and followed the instruction to install through the finless rom tool. it goes through and says everything ok but the box then boot to the software just like nothing happened.

when i go to recovery " Holding recovery button while powering" I still see the stock recovery.

I can't use "su" commands nor use the reboot app because i don't have root.

Is there anyway to get the CWM without having to go through the root?

I really appreciate anyone that can help.

I will try it, I can add a custom kernel with ntfs and exfat support, but I need to test if it works, I dint try it before.

Yes you can do it using rk androidtool, Download http://www.freak-tab.de/leolas/flash...ecovery-Q7.zip, and from your windows pc unzip it and run RKAndroidTool.exe, it comes preconfigured to flash the cwm for your device.

In 4.4.2 I cant say, for sure it will not backup metadata partition.

                        Ok.

If I send you the recovery of the custom rom (4.4.2) that I use you can build the cwm?

                            RK3188_Box_V3.0

This is my first post, but I have been reading this forum for about a month and learned a lot. Now I am ready to take the next step.

My box is rooted and I have installed Titanum Backup pro and Onlineandroid backuppro. I have uploaded both the recovery image and recovery log in a rar file. I don't know what else you migt need. I used onlinenandroidbackupfor the backup. I have read through this entire thread but not found a compatible recovery (I think) If I missed it I apologize.

On the board inside the box is this:
                            RK3188_Box_V3.0
                            2014-01-02

If possible would you make me a CWM recovery for this rom. Thankyou.

                              CWM for CS968?

                              hello;
what basis of CWM ,I have to use for CS968 please?
I tried the generic recovery, but I can not do any backup or restore in recovery.
                              thank you for this work

                                cwm for rkm rk902

I'm trying to correct a flashing screen on my new rk902 box. It seems from my research and futile attempts
to use my linux laptop to flash the latest stock ROM, that making the clockworkmod work work may be my only hope.
I've been through the procedure described at the beginning of this thread and when I ran the recovery/reboot script, I either
got a denied permission or the mk902 shutdown without reboot. Is this what was supposed to happen?
I'd really like to make this thing work. Thanks for any input.
