Yep, of course - it has the RK3188. I have already tried installing the generic one from "fun_" but to no avail. I get a blank screen.

Remember that I havent your tablet so I cant test it properly, Be sure that you know how restore it to the inital working state, there must not be problems, but I want to advice it

but I don't have the original ROM image and I could not find a link on the web for it either, if anyone has either then please post a link - as although I have CWM working on the device - I think it is not fully working as I often get SD card mounting issues and it seems to forget the Nand Flash partition on occasion which I am still trying to figure out. I have the Neomode 1.7 hybrid rom working on it, but it does seem to crash and then I have to do a complete wipe and re-flash from my home windows based PC via the usual finless /neomode tools. It might just be that my stick has some issues though,

Thanks, I prefer that people give me the link to the firmware that it is working in their devices, there are so many clones around and some of them are different enought to make the recovery not work properly But thanks anyway. Your device seems so similar to mk802IV with ap6210. His cwm recovery and roms must work in your device, but I cant asure it..

I am doing the one for cx921, I will post it soon.

I would love a parameter file for the CX-921 that splits the memory in halve basically divides the memory into 8*8gb as every parameter file I tried from other ROMS would not work with it.

I am new here and many things are not clear for me.
I received my k-r32 yesterday and now I would like to install firmware Lewy or wasser but before I do that it would be good to save current firmware. How can I do this? If something goes wrong I would like to have way to recover previous version.
Is anywhere manual (step by step) how to dump factory firmware and install newone ?
I am not sure that soft from Lewy is compatible with my device because it is probably with new version of board and as I read it is problem with ethernet after instalation.

From the main menu, I go into "back and restore".

If I then choose "backup to external card", I get no prob whatsoever.
But... by simply choosing the first option: "backup", I obtain:

"Can't mount backup path" !!!!

In the log, I then find the reason, viz:

"failed to mount /dev/block/mtd/by-name/user (no such file or directory)"

Any idea??

This is what I understand it:
First I connect my box to PC and:

0) Open ROM Flash Tool.exe
1) Enter the flash mode
2) Extract the recovery.img from specific cwm image, rename it to recovery-cwm.img and place it in the folder FinlessROM (this step is only to facilitate the next step)
3) Let marked only the "recovery" and set the path FinlessROM\recovery-cwm.img (see image)
4) And last click Flash ROM

For step 2 I choose file from your second post in this topic:

Then I wait until complite and.... ?

There is certain devices (only a few) that don't work with the cwm, I didn't got any of them yet, with all my wireless or standard keyboards it works. Try tp use other usb keyboard.
Of course any bt keyboards Will work.

i guess it means that navigation from ir-remote does not work at cs968-cwm-recovery.img.zip. i tried two recovery images with my cs968: generic and yours. in generic recovery ir-remote work success, but in yours is not, only USB mouse/keyboard. can you fix it please?

the default scale of recovery screen is too big amd does not fit to the screen - i don't see lot of text at screen corners. can you make the default scale of recovery for example 50 instead of 100?

CX-921 -CWM - Feedback

It worked - did a backup and restore - with no problems found - Sorry it took a while, this is first chance I had to test it.

Now I just need a parameter file that works with this bloody CX-921 box - it works fine with the 4gig parameter file from Finless Bobs 1.7 Neo X7 rom, but when I try any of the other higher parameter files the box just hangs at the boot screen, I really want 8*8 - HELP.

Also I think I found the Cosy Swan S400 rom - so as to allow you to make a CWM from it:-
