Please can you give me a link to your stock recovery.img or stock rom? Sometimes lewy didn't install the stock recovery in his roms, and if someone sent me a non functional stock recovery.img for the device, the cwm created will not work, and the only device I have is the qx1 stick, so I can't check some of the recoverys in my device.

          leolas,
Unfortunately, I do not know where to find it.
          About device was written: rk31sdk-eng 4.2.2 JD039 eng linking 20130827.184313 test-keys.
          Maybe it's Firmware? -

Do you have your stock rom installed or did you change it? I can teach you to extract the recovery.img if you have your stock rom installed.

              recovery cwm

Good, teach me please, how to extract the recovery.img. I think that the recovery.img remains katabatic since I changed the stock firmware on firmware lewy20041 v.1.2, but it does not change recovery.img.

Probably a problem in my device present because I was trying to put firmware lewy v.2.0.4 with the installation of cwm recovery, - installed fine, but does not start - black screen.
Or maybe just the first boot is very long, and I did not have the patience to wait?

06.47PM Now I went into recovery, there is something damaged - android with a red triangle, and was formerly with green crystal. But the device is working properly, booting, all applications work.

How did you installed lewy rom? I supose (I dont have the device) that you dounloaded a update.img (big file with all the images inside), it contains the recovery.img too. So you loosed your stock recovery
I will try to search for the stock rom recovery.
I am missed, do you have the cs918 without BT correct?

Yes, I have the cs918 without BT.
                  I installed lewy firmware in the following order: v. Stock (GeekBuying) > lewy v.1.1.2 > v.2.0.4 > v.1.2.2 > v.1.1.2 > lewy v.1.2.0 1080P > lewy v.1.2.0 720P.
                  Best working versions: v.1.1.2 720P and 1.2.0 720P Lewy20041.
All versions except 2.0.4, Recovery CWM.img not have.

                      Hello,

perhaps tomorrow my device will arrive to me, so I have some questions:
                      1. is the K-R42 version also for the CS918, MK888, Jesurun DX05, and other named devices with the same PCB?
                      2. at this thread I read your explanations about the different partition-size/-position/-and_so_on and you wrote about parameters.
                      a) Does this parameters stored in the "parameter" file at position 2 at the "ROM Flash Tool"?
                      b) How can I generate this "parameter(s)" ?file? for/from my given FW (Stock) because I want to save this FW, before gamble with the new device, by using your CWM solution?
                      c) Or is there any other solution to "dump" the given FW (inclusive customising it for reflashing)?

A useful link instead a complete answer from you would be great enough (when I know, where to read, I'm able to read )

                      Thanks a lot!

                        1. Seems so, but I don't have any of those devices so I can't assure you.

                        A) yes, is this file.
                        B) but only with rooted Rom I know how to backup this parameter. No cwm recovery will not backup this file.
C)keeping untouched the stock firmware I dont know any way. Using some tools from Linux I can try to teach you how save a backup of some partitions, from Windows I dont know, and the bootloader can't be backup. If your suplier can give you a link to the stock rom, this is the safest way.

Booted to recovery and did a backup.
Restarted and tried to go to recovery again to try a restore.

I have not tried it, on the forum I asked for a link to download recovery.img before I wrote a plea for help to you. For a long time there was no response, I began to write about the problem here, later on the forum posted a file recovery.img. I think that the person has checked out the firmware lewy v.2.0.4.
I can try and report the result to you.
Now I will install with the ROM FlashTool 1.37.
                            Not will this even worse?

For a long time there was no response, I began to write about the problem here, later on the forum posted a file recovery.img. I think that the person has checked out the firmware lewy v.2.0.4.
I can try and report the result to you.
Now I will install with the ROM FlashTool 1.37.
                                Not will this even worse?
I suggest the second way, using terminal emulator, but wait, I will try today to locate your stock rom, waser told me that there was something wrong in my kr42 cwm. I will try to rebuilt it, it seems the same device than your.
