If I use an app to transfer apps to the sdcard, when the CWM backing up the apps moved to the sdcard, will be considered?

I am not sure, I never use it in rockchip, because you can to select a parameter file with the /data amount that you want. In other devices I had I repartitioned the sdcard (external) to add a partition to install apps on it, but in those devices I cant repartition internal memory, so thats is why I use it, in rockchip is very easy select a parameter

i guess it means that navigation from ir-remote does not work at cs968-cwm-recovery.img.zip. i tried two recovery images with my cs968: generic and yours. in generic recovery ir-remote work success, but in yours is not, only USB mouse/keyboard. can you fix it please?

the default scale of recovery screen is too big amd does not fit to the screen - i don't see lot of text at screen corners. can you make the default scale of recovery for example 50 instead of 100?

there is errors in recovery.log:

but created images looks like correct. what means these errors? full log in attachment.

The arrors making the backup are normal errors, I got them using recovery binary like "dump_image" from console, dont worry about them.

About some remote controllers cant be used, sorry, but I have no idea of how make them work, all my generic (and cheap) remote controlers work Inclusive the A2 works)

It worked - did a backup and restore - with no problems found - Sorry it took a while, this is first chance I had to test it.

Now I just need a parameter file that works with this bloody CX-921 box - it works fine with the 4gig parameter file from Finless Bobs 1.7 Neo X7 rom, but when I try any of the other higher parameter files the box just hangs at the boot screen, I really want 8*8 - HELP.

Also I think I found the Cosy Swan S400 rom - so as to allow you to make a CWM from it:-

Oh and one last favor - if you do un-compact the above image, then can you upload it as an image that is broken into it's component parts - you know - kernel / parameter / etc/ .

Your CX-921 have 16GB in nand? Sorry I don’t understand, you want a parameter file with 8GB to /data (install apps) and the rest for sdcard?

I am downloading the S400+AP6210 rom to make a cwm for it and upload the rom parts .

Hi Guys,

I managed to flash the generic rockchip CWM onto my Tronsmart MK908ii.

Problem is, how do I control it? I use the Tronsmart TSM01 remote but this does not appear to function with CWM (it worked with the stock recovery).

Any suggestions?

Like gollygosh said, try a usb standard mouse or keyboard. Seems that Tronsmart TSM01 is not suported

I've just been trying the method without a PC but when I enter the command unzip term-install.zip, it just returns 'unzip not found'

I ended up unzipping the files manually and then everything worked like a charm.

Maybe your unzip link to busybox is not in xbin. Good you can solve it ;D

You are the best - I mean it - thanks for all your help.

The CX-921 I have is the 16gb model with 2gb off DDR3 - what I was looking to do -(which reading back, I can see that what I typed I did not put across clearly) - All I really want is a parameter file that splits the 16gb memory into two equal halves - 8 on the device and 8 for storage - or maybe 6 / 10 - I have a parameter file that does 4 / 12 from one of finless's rom's as mentioned in one of my comments above - but every time I try one of the other higher parameter files from his Rom's the CX-921 will hang at the boot loading screen. I know it has to be a problem with the last couple of lines in the parameter file - but like hell do I understand it.

Never had problem to instaling cwm on my ImitoMX1 but since flashing 4.2.2 rikomagic rom on it the cwm refuses to install properly (Tried install it flashing the recovery partition). MX1 refused to boot after.
