cwm recovery for rk3188

    I use the arctools package ( from arctablet.com forum)
    Very simple to install cwm recovery. I installed it on my cube u30gt2 tablet (rk3188) and the mk808.

      Good!, is that cwm with a working kernel inside? Or it use the kernel.img? Can you provide a link to check?

          CWM recovery is model specific rather than by the ROM version.

            Must be more to it than that since on my mx1 running Rikomagic rom the standard mx1 cwm would not install until Leolas was kind enough to create custom version.

                  Good den.Kupil currently Mk902. It does not have a CWM Recovery. Help raise their hands. Already spent a month in an empty, RK30GENERIC_CWM.zip ported maximum start and what made mount partitions, but writes error Recover backup boot 0x10000000 and kernel 0x10000000. A source of collecting. runs native recovery and restores System. Help please

                    need generic RK3188 CWM in 720p resolution

                    Hi Leolas,

                    I have CR11S which work with RK30GENERIC_CWM.zip from site below
                    However due to my monitor only has 720p resolution, the display flicker on and off
                    since this RK30GENERIC_CWM.zip recovery image has 1080p resolution.
                    Would you kindly modify this recovery image to have 720p resolution?

                        The RK30GENERIC_CWM.zip from androtab don't have a kernel inside, so there is not 720 or 1080, it use the kernel used in the kernel partition of yoir current rom.
                        Sorry but I am finishing a new Rom, so I dont have so much free time, as soon I got some free time I will try to make some more petitions.

                            I've already installed the rockchip drivers, and my computer already noticed my stick. I have the ROM flash tool from Finless's 1.6b custom rom, and i have your custom recovery image for cx-919.
                            So basically, i think, everything is ready, i just didn't want to mess up my stick, so asked for sure.

                            Thanks in advance for any help or confirmation, that i'm doing it good.

                              I know it sounds a bit odd to make things like that if i'm not enough skilled, but i want to try out some custom roms, because my stick's wifi signal with stock rom works not too great, and i hope custom roms can solve this problem.(3-4 bars from 5 usually, but when i want to download some bigger files or want to watch something bigger than a 5 minutes video, the wifi disconnects; when i just webbrowsing, it works just quite fine, only sometimes has disconnects)

                              I've already adjusted my router's (TPlink TL-WR740N) wifi channel, it doesn't collide with nearby wifi signals.
                              And my router is quite close to the TV which on i'm using the stick.

                                cwm flash complete, backup complete on internal flash memory

                                hey there again,

                                forget my last question, i flashed that recovery image to my stick successfully(without Reboot to flash mode).
                                After it, i connected to my TV, pushed FN button until i plugged into electricity its charger plus 5 seconds just for sure, and it loaded into recovery mode(bootloader mode/flash mode).

                                I backed up my system and all successfully to my ? (internal flash i think, not sure). But my new question is, how can i save that backup to my PC? Connected to my PC, but it doesnt show up in My Computer between the hard disks.

                                So how can i save it to my machine?

                                Any help is much appreciated.
