Well I've the same M8S Pro L LB version with latest Netflix but no 4k tv hence unable to validate if this box is capable of 4K Netflix...

If it indeed able to then its good news too

trebor thanks. i solved it by installing antutu from yalp store.

Now i have a different problem. When i insert an external HDD to usb slot, the device restarts and then runs normally. No problem with flash drives but only with external HDD. Tried 2 different HDD. Anyone have a problem like that?

Hello , new to this forum and also new to TV Box World .
I am big fan of Xiaomi products, but the Mi Box has low specs , and only one usb, no ethernet etc . I have found some weeks now the Mecool MK9 , which from the specs sound very promise : Android TV , 2xUSB, Ethernet port , 4GB Ram, 32GB ROM, etc.
But i read all these comments here in the forum and i dont know if i must buy it or not.

1) I don't want Netflix 4K because my TV has already 4K Netflix pre installed , BUT because at the future maybe i will install it in different tv maybe i want to install a 4K Netflix app, so finally can it support netflix? can it support 4k?
2) what's the downsides that is not google certified?
3) Why it has pre-installed aptoide tv? you can install official apps from the google play store?
4) kodi plays 4k in this box?
5) can i install an air mouse (with keyboard and mouse) has bluetooth or i must get a one with usb donngle ?
6) in banggood they said that the netflix is pre-installed... is this true?

Netflix is not pre-installed. I installed it using Aptoide. Aptoide is installed. It plays 4K youtube and Kodi ( if that is even available ) I was able to log in to my google account using the phone to activate the box . Search using voice. I think this box just needed some breaking in. lol It ran DRM info in the background for a while .

Anybody run the antutu benchmark on this box. Mine turns my tv black after a while. My tv is sensitive to 4k signals.

Installed Antutu using APKpure...all working so far...

The Bluetooth game pad problem is so annoying. You just can't play a game. Is very frustrating. Too much lag.
