    Titanium stopping

I just flashed this rom and cannot get Titanium backup to work. It's stopping before it even starts.

I just noticed that NAND flash is not mounted after flashing 1.8a - only internal storage. If I try to mount it, it says "damaged storage". I tried to flash already twice.

I had similar issue with some ROMs on diffident devices.

Its not even an problem, just format it.

Thanks, that was also the reason for TitaniumBackup to force close.

At first, all seemed fine. I formatted NAND flash and starting installing apps, then I got error popup which was coming back all the time after pressing OK. I rebooted the tab, and now I am stuck at RILEYROM boot logo. It's nice logo, but not that nice. Reset did not help either.

It's official - my tab is bricked after flashing this rom and restore procedure does not work:

Connect via USB to your PC
Start the Flash app on your PC
Press and hold the ESC button for 5 seconds
While holding the ESC button put a paperclip in the reset hole and press and hold it for 5 seconds.
While still holding the Esc button and the Reset button, press the power button and hold.
You will see the flash tool recognize your device in loader mode.
              Release the ESC key
              Release the Reset button
Keep holding the power button with your thumb (if you let go, it will go out of loader mode and you will have to start over).
Click Erase IDB, let it finish
Click Flash ROM, keep holding the power button until it is done flashing the ROM.
Disconnect from the PC and press the power button again until the device powers up.

The brick recovery procedure in the readme just does not work, for me at least. I tried almost all possible combinations of reset, power, esc, holding-my-left-ear-with-right-thumb combinations, and nothing worked. At some point, I noticed that after holding reset, device presents itself as HTC Dream, under device manager>ADB. I typed "adb devices" and here it was - device id 01234567890ABCDEF. Quick list of command options in ADB cought my eye with this one: adb reboot-bootloader. And voila - I was back in business. Device was recognized in Rom Flash Tool and I could do the entire process again. Thought someone might find this useful.

Let's see if I go through the evening with this rom. Version 1.7 was hanging on me roughly twice a day. Might be a hw issue too, I don't know.

This piece of sh*** just hung right after clear rom flash. Anyone having the same issue with random hangs?

Manual flash mode might be different for the M6.

                    Check this thread:

I know this is a silly question, but are you sure you have the Max M6, not the M6 Pro. These are two different tablets and two different ROM's which aren't interchangable. Just be sure you are flashing the correct ROM.

I have the same problem actually. And have Max M6 (not Pro). Also downgrading to previous ROMs didn't help

I have had randon hangs right from the word go... all the way from the original PIPO firmware.. no rhyme or reason why. Sometimes after a day, other times after a week. seems not to come out of sleep. Paperclip in the reset hole sorts it out... But I assume it may be software related.

Still yet to use 1.8(a) as I am using the tablet in business so cant afford the downtime yet.. but I will or a newer one when it eventuates from Pipo

Yes, max it is. Now I get error 500 when trying to install anything from app store. So far, I have been using this tab only for ROM flashing.

                              Google maps works fine.

The tablet does ocasionaly frezzes so i have to reset with paper clip every other day, but not nesecary due to 1.8 rom cos i had it hapened on all the other roms includind native pipo firmware. I noticed often its freezung during some app installation.

What have you done to get maps working? Mine hasn't worked since RR1.3!
