Then go back to the ROM flash tool and you will see it on loader mode. You can continue with the instructions from that point.

Thanks, however seems this not work. After I click the switch button, it shown:
    **********Switch Action**********
    **********Switch Start Total<1>**********
    **********Switch Done Success<1> Fail<0>**********

And when I go back to ROM flash tool, it shown "No Found RKAndroid rock usb", and I cannot do anything on the tool. And I also found my M6 turned off and cannot turn on again.....Can you help on this? Thanks!

Usually, that problem is caused by a bad USB connection. You need to use the USB cable provided with your tablet because it has a longer connector to better fit the deep connection in the tablet. Make sure you are using a USB 2.0 port...not USB 3.0. Don't go through a hub.

You can manually get into flash mode by following the instructions for your tablet on this thread:

I opened the back cover using an old sim card and remove the screw that hold the mainboard and after that, you'll be able to slightly lift the side of the mainboard and then clean the screen surface using a napkin or something (I use a napkin tied to a narrow stick) BE EXTRA CAREFUL with the WIRE that connect the Volume Rocker Board with the Mainboard, while cleaning up I've messed up the wire that connect the mainboard with the volume rocker and ESC buttons. Personally although the dust on the screen may be very annoying I suggest its better to leave as it is.

Thanks for information. However, I still can not make me get into flash mode. I am using the USB cable provided with tablet, and I try to use the short cut key to go into flash mode of my tablet, but still no luck

Can be done as follows (it works for me):

1 - In the PC, open the flash tool
2 - With the tablet powered off, connect the usb cable
3 - Simultaneusly press volume + / volume - / power on (a few seconds). Once its powered on, you can release the buttons.

The flash tool should recognize your M6 with the "Found RKAndroid Loader Rock Usb" message; then you can follow the regular procedure (erase IDB, flash ROM).

Thanks, I try your step, and found that the "Android Robot" died at the center of the screen after start up. After 1 or 2 mins, the tablet restart automatically. The problem still exist.

Strange, you shouldn't see anything in the screen (in flash mode, the screen must remain black)

Does the flash tool in the PC recognize the tablet?

The flash tool in the PC can recognize the tablet if I connect after normal startup. But failed to click the reboot to flash mode under this case.

I also try to reset my tablet to factory value, still no luck. There are a message "沒有指令" under the "dead Android robot". In Chinese it means "no command".

Try to use the 6.0 or above version of Titanium backup and retry, easily solved.

First , you have to go to alternate_reboot_to_flash_tool, then rkbatch tool.exe, press switch mode, then the icon will turn from pink to green, just leave it here. Then open another exe, ROM_Flash_Tool_137.exe, press erase IDB, wait for reboot, and you can press flash once it was finished.

I have tested the 1.8a version for a few days. A bug was found, when I copy large size files to the internal memory, the tablet would freeze, when I press reset button, the tablet will stuck up at the boot up logo and cannot boot in. I tried to reflash many times, the same thing happened.

How large are the files? Android has a limit on file sizes. You might have good luck formatting an external SD to NTFS and copy them from Windows.

Mine just started crashing and eventually failed again - stuck at riley boot logo. I need to go back to stock, because something is really messed up here. I barely used it in the meantime.

Does anyone have link to stock rom?
