If you want I can make a new version with 800 MHz Ram version based on V3. I will post it later.
Well after experimenting with Randy's RileyROM 1.8 (and having poor stability and many bootloops) , I went back to RileyROM 1.7 and added Balrog's v4.1 kernel. In addition, I also flashed back in CrossBreeder and life is good again. 20,500+ on Antutu, fast boots and no bootloops at all!

I kinda feel the issue is probably more with PiPo's new ROM base...but that just my guess.

What do you meant by flashing again with crossbreeder after applying the OC Kernel? Doesn't that nullify the OC Kernel? Please elucidate . ... BTW its been a while since i flash my tab with 1.7.... does 1.7 have the pipo family launcher?
I wonder when we can have the freaktab launcher.....

M6 truly is a great tab among its price range

My samsung note 2 international version scores around 16000++ on antutu benchmark and with the awesome riley rom and the new OC kernel my M6 scores 20K plus.. if benchmark means anything M6 sure ranks top 3 among its price range

Though I'd really love to be able to increase or decrease the touch screen sensitivity that's the only neg I can come up with this budget tab

Just wanna say a big thx to Randy and Balrog, the 1.6 rom with the custom Kernal is rocking !, i score around 19.800 in Antutu, and i can def tell the difference when using the tablet, especially the desktop speed, thats nice and smooth, where as before it was a bit laggy, I use the Nova launcher and its just perfectly smooth now. And games, that were just bit too laggy to play, Zen Pinball being one, are now a joy ). Its given the tablet just that extra bit of kick it needed to be a properly functioning retina tablet )
          Great job !

Edit : I just have a quick question, my dad has an Aoson M33, would the V4 custom kernal be compatible with that tablet as he would like to give his a bit more boost too .

            Hi,

Same issue for me, I think the V3 comes from Riley 1.8 and V4 from an older kernel.

If I turn off the wifi I can boot with v4 on the 1.8 rom and the kernel is not the expected one...

So there is a mistake somewhere...

            1.8 + v3 = ok
            1.6 + v4 = ok
            1.8 + V4 = don't boot if wifi is on (bad kernel I guess)

            Slowry

Noone will ever know.... you've got to take a risk.... I guess if its rk3188, I assure you its hard to brick the device, though it'll be wise to download the original rom first along with the kernel (just in case)
Anyone care to tell me which file needed to ne edited/modified in order to change the touch response. ..

Balrog....can you do a v4 spec kernel for Riley Rom's newest ROM v1.9? Your v4 does not work with it, yet it works great with v1.7 and apparently v1.6 too.

I'd really like to try the a proper version of your kernel tweaks for RileyROM v1.9. With it's stock kernel RileyROM v1.9 only gets me to about 18,000 on Antutu vs. 21,000 with RileyROM 1.7 + your v4 kernel + Crossbreeder.

                Thanks for any help!

Flashed V 1.8a all was good then.............

                  Hello

I flashed my pipo and all was good then I rebooted it as an app wouldn't start and now the screen is stuck on rileyrom badge.

How do I reboot the device manually. I assume I am looking for a sequence..... I have tried volume + and Power button. reset Button at the back, but nothing??

any help/thoughts suggestion would be greatly appreicated.

                  Thanks in advanced

If you press the volume + key and just the power key then plug in the usb cable it will be detected by your PC. You may have to install the rockchip drivers that come with the Rileyroms, then you can flash your tablet again from there

So when your PC detected the tablet did you have to re-install the drivers ?, its in the driver folder of the Riley Rom fie, when you do that it should something like rockchip android device in device manager. If its not saying that then it might be you have installed the wrong drivers, the 1.6 Rileyrom is the one I use because it has drivers for Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.

                          To reboot to recovery:

                          1) Press and hold VOL+ button
                          2) Press and hold ESC button
                          3) Press and hold POWER

You can release all buttons once the first logos appear.

@guest2013 that sounds like a PC problem rather then your tablet, do you have access to another PC, if so try installing the drivers from there
