How do i know which out of these versions is compatible for my tablet?

    kernel_GPS_1.4_cpu1704h_1325mV_V1_gpu600_ddr648
    kernel_GPS_1.4_cpu1704h_1325mV_V1_gpu600_ddr672
    kernel_GPS_1.4_cpu1704h_1325mV_V1_gpu600_ddr744
    kernel_GPS_1.4_cpu1704h_1325mV_V1_gpu600_ddr768

ive noticed the difference is the ddr... what does it mean... the higher the DDR number?

    Thanks again!
All are compatible with your tablet higher values = better performances but less stability if you have a not good ram module. You need to try and see which is suitable for your specific tablet.

      Notice GPS not being recognised

I've recently updated to one of the kernel_GPS_1.4 kernels (actually I've tried a few) and I've now noticed that my GPS on my M6Pro isn't being recognised.

I have a GPS app installed that used to work and show all of the satellites detected, etc. Now it shows nothing.

Have I missed a thread on this?

I know this isnĀ“t for kernal but my thread is dead.

Hi, Iknow this isnt suppose to be in this Thread but my thread is "dead" and i am need som help.I did this one Pipo M9 Pro RileyROM 2.7 KitKat and it went well, no problem. The pipo where not slow and lagging after, verry sharp when i jump between stuff. But when my girlfriend played a game, the pipo first froozed, then made a sound of click/snap/ from the inside. Then it went black, someone who can help. Or is it hardware issue, the pipo still got power. Because when i connect it to the computer the sound of a new device sounds, and when i push the startbutton the sound sounds again. Someone who can help please send me a PM

It seems that the voltage regulators (VRM) are dead...
I think it's an HW failure

              GPS not working - fixed

It seems you have to enable blue tooth. Why is that?

I enabled Bluetooth and GPS is working.

                not for me,
                I've NEVER enabled bluetooth.
Bluetooth uses another antenna wrt GPS...and frequency are not so close (2.4Ghz fo BT, and 1.575Ghz for GPS).
Seems a non sense to me....

Any of you kernel guys up to making a set of custom kernels for the M8 Pro KK ROM?

It appears the kernel is capped at 1.4.

I try the overclockomatic patch, but the max cpu frequency is correctly set to 1608 in the original kernel.

It can be a governor issue.

I've experienced the problem on freshly installed Linux Mint 17.
                      Code:

Which table is the CPU table?
(The CPU table is mostly the largest table ranging from 312 to 1608 MHz
I checked kernel.img in hex editor and seems that offsets for tables are correct, at least table 6 is defenitely CPU table. It seems that script can not detect correct number of entries in tables and therefore complains on higher number of entries in script comparing to actual table which is not right, there are 7 entries for CPU for CPU table.
The issue does not depends on version of overclockomatic and/or kernel version.

Is new version of perl causing the problem? Can anyone solve it?

go on Settings -> development options (slide to OFF).

Im right to do this just before flashing right?

                        Thanks

It's exactly the same: you could do it before or after flashing. It doesn't matter!

Are these kernels (also quoted from Giouncino's message) compatible with RR 1.8.2? I have just flashed latest RR couple days ago, and it finally works perfect with 3G and GPS. Antutu is just 18700-18800, is new kernel worth trying? Earlier I suffered heavily from bad 3G, it was working only where excellent field, other places just E-network... I don't want to go back there I did use stock libril.

Bad 3G is only due to wrong libril.
My kernel 1.4 works on 1.8.2

Sorry, but what ever libril I used, there was no help. It came bit better with some updates, but only now I get actual 3G connection at my house.
But, I will try some of those 1.4's
