I know the M6 Pros are versatile so is it looking like I've purchased a duff one? I'd like to send it back for an exchange, but I'm not sure on what grounds I could warrant this action. Aaargh!
Do U have a external SD card installed ? If yes, remove and try tests again.
If not then U can try to put a original PIPO stock ROM onto the tablet and run the same tests again.
If they pass then we have to look further, if they fail the same tests too... then return tablet without hesitating.

Grounds : not stable at default ROM settings : include your Antutu test experience and do some other tests and add results too.

Yep - I have a 32GB Samsung card installed. Last night I removed it, reflashed with original Pipo ROM and ran Antutu. It completed. Ran it again this morning and it locked up at 21%. I am now in the process of returning it for a refund. Hopefully I can get a replacement before Christmas. Not sure whether to try another 32GB model or stick with just the 16GB.

        3G malfunctions with modified kernel

        Hi all,
I've found a VERY strange malfunction of 3G module with my modified kernels (low_voltages and target_2.1). All tablet tested with modified kernels show the same behaviour.

With these kernels for some reason 3G sensitivity is reduced (in areas where 3G is not so strong, with stock kernel 3G is connected with "H", with my modified kernels the connection is "3G" or "E" or even nothing connection).
I think that the voltage regulator uses the same voltage set for the RAM also for the 3G module amplifier.

I suppose that, because the CPU dinamically changes the voltage together with the frequency, so the probability that the CPU voltages are the problem is very low.

I'll perform a test soon, setting the ram again to 1.3V (as stock kernel) to verify if 3G comes back to original sensitivity.
        Stay tuned.

but which of the voltages do you think is responsible?
the cpu voltage would make more sense because it's changing dynamically, right?

I think that the responsible is the ram voltage.
I've raised RAM voltage to stock 1.3V and 3G seems working better (But I need more testing).
Also on USB OTG with low voltages I'm no more able to power up my external HDD.
I will do a test also for this.

I suppose that the RAM voltage is used as "base voltage" to be multiplied to achieve USB and 3G working voltages.
I need more testing to have proofs of these.

Stay tuned, on next days I'll be able to have an answer for this strange behaviour!

                Hi giouncino.

Is it possible for u to do a 1.6 Ghz, 60 gpu, 720 memory for me?
Seems to having trouble of making it work at 1.7 Ghz..

in airplane mode i have still a drain of 1% an hour, same with ds batterysaver pro set to switch off, 3g, wifi, gps AND bkuetooth.

even when i deactivate 3g like this:

"Investigating further, I found some solutions from other tablets with this issue, to get rid of "cell standby".

assuming you are rooted - edit the build prop.

                  add, or edit if existing:
                  ro.carrier=wifi-only
                  phone.persist=0

                  the in /system/app

                  delete

                  phone.apk
                  telephony-provider.apk

                  Reboot."

i got rid of the cell standby showed in battery stats plus as main battery eater, but it hasn't any effect on my battery drain...

                  any further ideas?

You did not deactivate 3G, you need to use a different 3G library file ("libril29" file need to be changed, with the stock one the tablet NEVER goes in deep sleep, and for that reason you have a battery drain of 1% every hour).

As i've mentioned beforemy 3G tablet went into deep sleep with stock RIL. With the special RIL it does too. However, with both I still get 1% drain per hour!

Have you checked if there is any process that "wake up" your tablet?

For my 3G m6pro, after a complete night in deep sleep when I wake the tablet up it shows 0-1% of battery drain, BUT from then the first 5-10% of battery will decrease faster (for unknown reasons).

I tried also the alternate lib file, no difference. Even when cpu spy shows 12h deepsleep i lose 10-12%

Have you tried from a clean ROM install? A rogue app could be the culprit.
