Try this one: , if this is still not working, I suggest you to use a modified kernel with RAM but with CPU on stock 1.6Ghz (I can prepare it for you, in case), just to be sure to have a perfectly stable Tablet.

I was just about to ask u if you could make a kernel that is overclocked on the RAM only
Much obliged!

this is for the RAM only:
CPU and GPU are set to stock voltage/frequency

Thx mate!

Worked nicely.. Did 4 runs in Antutu. Got between 20500-20700 with it. Niiiice

Also stability test checked out fine.

Thanks again!!!

Thanks for that one...I'm gonna try it, too!!!!!

giouncino, is it possible for you to make a kernel that is like the above but that you modify voltage for the CPU as in for example "target_2.1". But you still keep stock frequency.
At let me try that and see if there is any change on battery consumption?

Cheers

here you have:
kernel_kitkat_cpu_stock_undervolted_as_per_Target_2.1_gpu600_ddr720.zip

Let me know if it works properly

Unfortunately I seem to have a bitchy CPU.. it starts up but constantly freezes during use.. sometimes after 1 min, sometimes after 15 min..

I went back to previous kernel since it works flawlessly.

can anyone say: how i can get frequencies and voltages from kernel.img?
any tutorials or links or info?
thanks.

1. Read initial info here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...rk3188-kernel!
2. Download patchomatic zip from github (for win OS download and install ActivePerl)
3. Use 'overclockomatic3188 kernel.img' command to patch kernel (for win rename overclockomatic3188 to overclockomatic3188.pl and use 'overclockomatic3188.pl kernel.img' command)
4. Original freqs and voltages you can get at the script output, modified - directly in overclockomatic3188 (you can give to the patcher already patched kernel and see what other people change)
5. Burn patched kernel to the tablet using ROM_Flash_Tool and test

i saw this, i already used this, but i still don't understand how i can get freqs and voltages from kernel before patching

You can see the tables when open kernel image with script before applying any patches. If you open kernel.img same as in use will see actual table. That simple.
Of course, some values you can find using applications for CPU frequencies e.g No Frills CPU or using terminal comands on freshly rebooted tablet for GPU and memory frequencies

hi giouncino is their any chance you can make kernels that supports changing Voltages Assigned to each CPU frequency please if possible

what do you mean?
my patched kernels already have different voltages for each frequency from 304 to 1704Mhz.
