Do you have k-r42 revision 2.1? if yes does ethernet work for you?
it seems some user still have problem with ethernet. sadly i don't have have to test it.

Yes, wasser, I have k-R42 revision 2.1 and Ethernet works for my device.
I have just found another quite strange thing. There is some bugs with mutual influence between Lan and WLAN hw modules.
Please look at picture which is bellow.
Probably something wrong with algorithm of switching on and off of the wifi or ethernet mudules.

A quick note about your download link mate.

Even tho your link says K-r42-wasser-1.2.1.zip when you actually click it then it downloads T-r42-wasser-1.2.1.zip

If I change the link manually to http://www.freak-tab.de/wasser/k-r42-wasser-1.2.1.zip then I get the K zip.

i only see the network traffic errors by eth0. It's a know bug in firmware, sadly we don't have source code.

I've flashed new rom to my K-R42 (v2.1).

Small comparison wasser's rom to chinese rom (from previous, latests links):
- slower WiFil; bandwidth decrease (in tests) from 7.5-6.7Mbps to 3.1-2.6Mbp;
- ETH is not working (same packet lost like in Lewy's rom);
- wallpaper is really nice;
- sleep works the same but resume is better - with standard IR remote works every time;
- increase score in AnTuTu from 17327 to 19752

I'm going to fllash back chinese rom because both WiFi and ETH works perfect! Moreover justXBMC and XMBC "Frodo" works too!

Dzidek downloaded the correct firmware.
He changed manually path link from t to k letter and he got a correct firmware. Two people (included dzidek) on Polish forum tested this firmware (both of them have correct links) and they had problem with ethernet.

Hi wasser,
You haven't noticed something important except the log errors in picture was provided by me. There are two icons for wifi and Ethernet having BLUE COLOR AND WORKING SIMULTANIOUSLY.
May be this bug is somewere in config, isn't it?

One more observation - looking at net switch, LED indicator for the port where K-R42 is connected behaves "strange"
- WiFi on + ETH off = LED off
- WiFi off + ETH on = LED on/flash
- WiFi off + ETH off = LED on/flash

I still haven't found the time to flash it. I have your last t-r42-wasser-1.2 FW with your last 1080p kernel for K-R42 from 2nd of Novemer being instaled. All the my information is based on this my configuration.
Have you made some important changes among the t-r42-wasser-1.2 and k-r42-wasser-1.2.1 firmware except of removing BT in the settings(if you actually do it)?

Wasser, how about changing approach to figure out a ETH problem?!?

I will connect my K-R42 PCB 2.1 to my PC and give You access through TeamViewer (I have full version)!
With this "hybrid" You can easily access K-R42 and with adb shell get whatever You want from it!
Another words: with TeamView You will get access to my PC and then, with adb shell straight way to K-R42
Moreover, with this "connection" You can easily upload new kernel/rom, flash it and test! Witout waiting for us - testers!!

So, are we going to setup online, debug session??

I tried to flash with RKAndroidTool, but on boot there is a recovery error about mounting recovery/log...

But still the same error message a boot time within recovery about invalid command argument : cant mount /cache/recovery/log ...

So I erase cache partition and reboot and seams ok...

the next kernel update will have a fix for this issue and i will upload the new kernel soon. I need someone who have k-r42 revision 2.1, for testing.
