At CWM Screen I got some errors because of unable to mount xyz too, but I ignore it and make a restart from the menu...

Then there is a black screen for a wile and now I've the desktop...

BTW: can you explain the different and/or do you have a link?

In MX you have 3 decoding options :
SW : software
HW : hardware
HW+ : hardware plus

passthru can only work in HW, cause in HW+, audio stream is decoded by hardware into PCM surround.

I'm trying to flash wasser's firmware but at first boot I get stuck with the CWM recovery menu. Which "parameters" file should I use? There are four: parameter, parameter8, parameter10 and parameter14...

Use parameter without number.
At CWM choose erase cache and then reboot.

Just upgraded to windows8.1 and that f***ng rk driver doesnt work anymore...

Pass through

Hello

I was told that the pass through issue is just wrong settings in mx player.
I was told to set the system to HW NOT HW+ and that all of the features then work correctly ...

But I do NOT use XBMC so there you have it, lets us all know if it works

Once Wasser releases the new firmware ... And normal audio is working again ...

What is your impressions after flashing wasser 1.2.1 FW? Have you noticed something strange with mutual influence of Ethernet and wifi in case they are switched on at the same time? And do you have unexpected reboots too?

NO when mx settings are ok, some movies are ok (DTS and AC3) but other not, compressed audio is apparently sent to receiver but my receiver display PCM and then I can only hear noises...

Hi I have 3 kr42 and one minix 7 ;-)

I do prefer lewy fw as mele F10 mapping is better than in wasser one (especially the home button).

With wasser or lewy fw plus 1st november kernel it is quite stable, but I never put on wifi... because on eth0 I can stream at 50mbits and only 20mbits on wifi.

I cant use last wasser kernel (11/11) no mac, no eth0, no wifi, If a try system crash and reboot.

I do not test passthru for the moment, the priority is to find a stable system.

I use Finless 1.6 ROM + kernel_molle_20131109_neox7_1080p_cpu1608h_ddr720_ gpu600h_vsfsam on my x7mini and the playback is perfect !

In ES File Manager I only see my "errorsoft" (MS) NB but not the NFS share by haneWIN NFS.
Are the needing libs exist in this mod and if yes, witch one have to be instmod...?

1.2.2 firmware coming

Hi all.

i'm uploading 1.2.2 firmware for k-r42. It will be available sonn for download.
Some changes in the new firmware:

- new kernel
- improved suspend/resume, stability
- improved video playback
- fixed audo issue
- fixed key mapping issue
- support all revisions (you have to choose the correct one)

important:
- please erase NAND (click EraseIDB button) before flashing the firmware
