Wasser or anyone. I am running 1.2.4 and everything on it seems to be very nice now that I figured out a couple small things. My latest problem and hopefully there is a resolution but the TV OUT seems to not work like older versions from lewy. It displays and has sound but the display is very choppy in the video output. Whether navigating menus or watching a video everything seems severely delayed and lags. The audio sounds perfect with each button push or movie but the video is like watching frames instead of a movie. This is just navigating within the android OS or any other app. Any help would be greatly appreciated. if I can supply anything from logs or do additional testing let me know and Ill do my best. This is the AV TV Out not the hdmi connection. Also I am running the 1080p kernel and boot. I know this is an old connection but I still do move one k-r42 between TV's occasionally for the kids and would be nice if this worked.

It's know issue and is already fixed in next coming 1.2.5 firmware.

- Does it have Bluetooth, if yes name of bluetooth chip?
- which wifi/ethernet driver?

The wifi and bluetooth chipset use RTL8723AS.

Box number 1 is mine. Same pcb picture and model number.

i have now this hardware and can make firmware working on this hardware. I don't want promise but your android box would be full supported in next coming 1.2.5 firmware.

Hey. The link on geekbuying tells me to use: T-R42 2.0 Board Firmware by lewy20041. I have this running but no BT? It switches on then off again? WiFi/Ethernet work great though. And so do the OC kernels except 1080p playback is poor even at 1.7gjz with GPU OC.
Is geekbuying wrong? Do I have a K-R42 or a T-R42.

I look forward to your ROM update in the mean time would your T-R42 ROM support this box?

it's easy to reproduce if your box has bluetooth support, just flash the stockfirmware!

only wifi and ethernet works with the 1.2.4 t-42 rom.

My box is a T-R42 B351 v2.0 (2013/09/22) not K-R42? I just tried the OC K-R42 kernels and cpu only 1.41ghz wifi Ethernet work no BT.
All the T-R42 OC kernels from Lewy do work and wifi Ethernet. No BT.
The T-R42 OC kernels listed on your T-R42 Custom firmware by Wasser thread. Do not boot but are T-R42's?

It sounds GREAT about your next 1.2.5 FW.
I hope you give us a chance to have it for our (not clone) boards like this:

I suppose that it is well known SZTENA manufacturer. They produce two modifications where 8188 or 8723 chip is soldered on the same board at the same place (outlined with red).
Many people already have them now and will have them nearest time.
If you want me to be a tester I'll be just glad. If you need some logs just let me know.

how do i use this android tool? in my thread they said for me to get kernel-1080p-k-r42-new.img", "boot-1080p.img"

i installed the driver now i don't know how to load these, in NFS i selected the loader, parameter, kernel-1080p-k-r42-new.img i clicked run everything ok dont know where to load boot-1080p.img ?

I tryed booting my devic on tv and it keeps going into recovery mode, can some one teach this n00b what to do i want to be able to use xbmc tonight thanks.


P.S i have TN-BX09_v2.1 chipset (AC8350)
