Other than wifi it's a very good one Wasser. Been feeding it a 1080p with 5.1 audio for the last hour and it appears rock solid. Sleep/resume also works great.

First if all thanks for your incredible work! The commitment and effort you put in this is remarkable. I am a newby to android and just ordered a T-R42, the reviews and the input on this forum put me to it. I haven't received the device yet but I am trying to prepare me by following this thread so I can make a quick start when device is in. So far I am convinced I now know how to flash your firmware, connect device to windows, run RKBatchTool,Select Firmware and Restore! But my question is do I need to root the device first before I change firmware, or is it already rooted, or will it be rooted on the proces of flashing your firmware? Sorry for my Noob question, just dont want to do something wrong with the device. Thx.

I want to improve wifi and bluetooth for t-r42. for this i need the gpios list of wifi and bt from t-r42.
Could someone please do this and post the gpio list? It's very important for me to make wifi/bt working correctly.

Try to change wifi mode on the router. I had the same problem with b/g/n mode. After changing to b/g mode and auto channel its connects well.

it could be that bt/wifi doesn't work 100% correctly. As i mentioned before i cannot fix bluetooth and wifi correctly without having gpio list.
