Please make the gui real 1080p-scale.
And is it possible to make kernel overclockable?

thank you for you hard work and delivering us this great rom!
I have been testing this for some time and here are some of my findings.

        Good

-wi-fi works flawlessly with my router, however I am very close to it so I didn't test it on a distance
-ethernet very stable and fast, running splashtop to play games from my pc, excellent!!
this evening I am gonna assign static ip and see how that goes...
-rom seems stable and fast, running it a few hours continiously
-first rom I was able to use my G910 gamepad with and Tincore keymapper, you made my day!

        Needs improvement

-had 2 force closes enabling tincore keymapper which needs root, (I think I was to fast manipulating the program as I didn't encounter the issue anymore when I approached it carefully
-have continiously force closes when the "Google Now" ad gets pushed. I will try to block this ad from being pushed and let you know.
-shut down button actually reboots the unit, kind of annoying, first I thought it was because I plugged the unit into pc, but kept on occurring when unplugged it from pc

However, a great rom, very usable for every day use neglecting the minor quirks, thanks man!!
Lately I'm detecting FCs with some of these TV box/stick firmwares. I would really like to find out the reason so feedback is appreciated. If this happens could you guys try to send me a logcat?

        Please, support Tincore Keymapper

          Hello Herzie

          Hello Herzie,

Every thing is scaled to take up the same size/space as the 720P icons do ...

Did You set Auto Hide SystemBar Checked under Display on the settings page ??

Question about Full HD and Dolby Surround (Dolby DTS, 5.1 etc.)

            Hello altogether!

I have one question. I am interested to buy a smart tv android box.

I read that the t-r42 is great hardware - but the only problem is that Full HD passthrough and Dolby DTS or Dolby 5.1 surround sound is not possible.

            Is that true?

And is it also true that I could "fix" this problem just by flashing the firmware of "wasser"?

What is important in purchasing this box - I live in Germany, who is the best and reliable supplier for the German market?

            Thanx in advance!
            Thomas

              Okay, that explains it. Thx.

Auto hide bar> regarding the XBMC you mean? No I haven't tried that. Will give it a try. Read a thread on XBMC site and it seems like that it's a known issue with fullscreen not being perfect.

                Herzie,

Auto Hide Systembar is Under Android Settings:
IT will hide the status bar when a app start any app ...

Sorry Herzie, I've just realised that XBMC is indeed running at 720p. My TV sees 1080p, but XBMC does not. Below the relevant extract from XBMC log

So it must be upscaled 720 to 1080 afterall??

DTS and Dolby 5.1 passthrough via optical S/PDIF works great with Wasser's firmware. 720p HD is fine too, but as I've just realised, it appears 1080p is upscaled 720p... Looks good though on my TV. Maybe next release will sort the 1080p issue.

I ordered my box in Germany from myhdplayer.de. 114.90 Euro. You can get it for 75 Euro (including DHL shipping) if you order from geekbuying.com in China, which is what I should have done but I didn't realise. Don't know how import duties work in Germany though. (I'm in Switzerland)

that happens on my boxes, too... sometimes.
I don't figure out the circumstances when or how...
seems to be a random thing.
And I exactly aim on Power Off, not Reboot ;-)

                          Gerry
I can also confirm that the shutdown button leads to a reboot sometimes. No idea what causes it.

@ michael T when i am checking the resolution in just xbmc it says 1280x720 this ROM is 720p also now less fits on the screen the fonts are bigger all thats changing is the dpi not the resolution ??
its 720p upscaled like the old devices mk802III used this method till Finless sorted it out
Try this application see what results you get

do I then just have to put a new optical cable between SmartTVBox and my AVR-Sound-machine?

Why doesn't that work with the HDMI cable?

And --> does also Dolby True HD work?
