i upload new 1080p kernel for t-r42 with new revision. Could you try to flash the 1.2.2 firmware with this new kernel ?

Flashed Recovery for 1.2.3. followed your instructions changing address to 0x00014000 now box wont boot turns off after a few seconds

Wasser, as requested, on a new revision 2.0 t-r42, I installed your 1.2.2 firmware with your new version t-r42 kernel.
The box boots now and wifi works. However, ethernet gets a links light, but will not obtain an ip and I cannot set a static IP...so ethernet not working. Also, bluetooth is not working.

At least wifi works and the box boots. That is a good start!

Wasser just tried on my box congrats it boots and wifi works. I too have no bluetooth and lan does not get an ip although settings say its on. I agree GREAT FIRST START!!!!

could you please attach gpio debug log from 1.2.2 firmware with wifi, ethernet and bluetooth enable? it's very important to make wifi and bluetooth working.
Please take a look at the url how to get the gpio debug log.

Hello Wasser,

Testing:

1) Reflashed 1.2.3 Firmware and Restarted Player
2) Follow Below Instructions

A) Player Will NOT restart LED on Button Turns Off
B) Plugged Player Blue LED turns on for 30 seconds and Then turns off
C) Player Will NOT Boot ...

NOTE: Player Booted Fine When Flashing Just Recovery image at Default Location:
With Botton on buttom of player and Does NOT boot Correctly with Reboot App..

Test Results Complete.

Wasser, using your rom 1.2.2, I attempted to obtain the GPIO's. Wifi, ethernet or bluetooth will not enable.
However, I have attached the GPIO dump while trying to enable each one. I hope this helps.

Hello,
i installed latest version of skype on my T-R42 with stock firmware and webcam logitech c270:
when i do a video call with my ipad or my notebook (running windows 7),
very often skype tries to open the window but then it stops and crashes on the T-R42,
showing in the down right corner of the screen 'skype not connected'

I dont know on what this depends,
i am wondering if the latest custom firmware by wasser solves this problem

Did someone test skype videocall with latest wasser custom firmware?
I read somewhere that skype 3.2 version is working better... is it true?

I don't have a C270 but I tested it with my C920 and it wouldn't start up, the LEDs turn on, the mics work, but the video image stays black.
