v1.2.4 seems to work well with my v1.0 T-R42. I used the 720p/old files. BT and WIFI work.

Is there no auto hide or the system bar, or it hidden elsewhere this version?

      Thanks
      Bill

v1.2.4 seems to work well with my v2.0 T-R42. I used the 720p new files.
At the moment all is working well!!!

Thank you very much and congratulations for your great work.

I'm using v1.2.4 on a v1.1 board, with 720p kernel/boot, and everything is working OK, (WiFi, Bluetooth and Ethernet; I did not test the remote because I run out of batteries :-P ), and as usual is very fast and stable. Thanks for another excellent Rom @wasser.

I have a couple of questions:

            1) Why on all of your roms the CPU is limited to 1.4 GHz? The stock kernel/rom works OK with 1.6 GHz

            2) Is the LCD Density "hardcoded" in some way? I installed Build.prop Editor, added ro.sf.lcd_density with a value of 160, then 140 and then 120, but in every case, after reboot I don't see any change in density

            3) Can the Reboot App do any type of umount or sync before shutdown/reboot? I'm asking this because I have an external USB HDD with an ext4 partition, and I want to be sure that it is correctly unmounted on shutdown/reboot

            4) Why we can't set the I/O Sched on this devices with SetCPU? (this is not limited to your Rom, I can't set it on stock Rom either) I can set it on my tablet (Pipo M8 Pro) so I know that it is not a limitation of the SOC.

              Great work so far, thanks!

I just have a problem with video playback, which I had with 1.2.3 as well but not with 1.2.2. I'm using the 1080p old kernel and everytime I'm playing a movie (whatever format) using any Video player (using NFS thru ES File Explorer) it stops after 15 to 20 minutes and throws me back to ES. It's very annoying...

Anyone an idea what might be the cause?

              Cheers,

one question. When i use the 720p Kernel. Is Video Playback in 1080p possible? I Flashed 1080p boot and Kernel , but Gaming Performance Would be better with 720p

you should setup the resolution to 720p if you flash the 720p kernel

i cannot reproduce this issue, i did a video stress test (playing fullhd movies 12 hours) without any issue.

Got some more time to play with this version last night. 1.2.4 is working much better than any of the previous versions. Wifi seems to pick up signals that previously it hadn't. My SSID shows as a strong connection. No streaming issues. Bluetooth doesn't have any issues.

The version of XBMC is quite nice too. Great mouse support, and it plays videos that I was previously unable to play on 1.2.3.

Skype v3.2 now works with my Logitech c270 video camera as well.

Any help on the lack of autohide system bar? The style that was included in previous versions worked well. If this isn't possible, any recomendations?

                              Thanks!

Has the new K-42 kernel revision Bluetooth on it? Because I have the bluetooth version which should be the T-R42 version. There are 2 common revisions of T-R42 - rev.1 and rev.2, but I don´t have any of these two and I hardly doubt that it is the new revision of K-R42. I will try it, but don´t have much time so if I will brick it, I will lose everything on it again.
