I would like to flash using boot-1080p.img and kernel-1080p-t-r42-old.img
The drivers are installed and W7x64 recognizes RockUsb Devise in recovery mode.
I don't know what values to include in the seven options for Nfs and Ram.

Outstanding!!!
For anyone else having problems:
-In the RKAndroidTool > Flash Tab, simply click on the small box to the right of Path
-Point to the seven necessary files provided by wasser
-I have the old v1 board and used 1080p-boot and the old-t-r42-1080p-kernel.
I also tried the 720p versions, but the 1080p seemed more polished in terms of navigation.
Videos tend to stutter no matter which resolution is chosen, but that will improve in time.
Wifi is working great for my setup at 13Mbps. With ethernet at 21Mbps.
AnTuTu scored a very respectable 19,000+
Next goal is to find live sports programming within XBMC.
Kudos to Wasser, very nice!!!

Update: boot-1080p, kernal-1080p-old-t-r42
Bluetooth is no longer recognized by phone, everything else is working great.
Installed MashUp addon to xbmc. SD videos run smooth HD are choppy.
MashUp can also be used for download / torrent.
Doubt this is a Rom issue but when setting up download folder for Mashup, it will recognize location: mnt/external_sdcard/Videos but could not save (OK button).
I was able to resolve this by attaching a wired mouse to t-r42, and then click ok, go figure.
MashUp on Android xbmc can now download to external USB, not sure about network server.

Possible T-r42?
Hi all, can you help me identify my Android box? There are some pics here:
It is labelled AC8350 on the bottom
Also can anyone advise what is the best firmware to use for this? So far the stock seems ok, build number is rk31sdk-eng4.22 JDQ39 eng.linking.20131126.155035 test-keys.
My biggest issue is that the picture is quite dark, I have had to put the contrast up to full to get a reasonable picture.
Thanks in advance.

Wasser 1.2.4 rom is rock solid!!
Hi all,
Just a little feed back on the 1.2.4 rom. I'm runing the rom on the original T-R42 with 720P old kernel. I have tested wifi. bluetooth, software remote control (from my Galaxy Nexus and Asus tf700 tablet), they all working beautifully. XBMC on this version is the best, specially with mouse scrolling. Watching 720/1080 streaming are smooth as silk. Overall the OS is very responsive and smooth, no reboot, no overheat (I left my device on 24/7 never turn it off. If I have 1 wish with this super nice XBMC is how to make stream to sdcard works correctly (yes I did the xml mod, but not working correctly) I saw it caching to the sdcard, but xbmc still said "cache full". Basically it's a very solid rom and much much better than the stock or any older custom version. Be aware that when you're streaming and the video stopped and buffering, it's not your device or rom but the server issue that you stream from. I have tried the same movie from the same network in the morning and it buffering every 5 mins, but when I watch it again late at night around 12am, I was able to watch the entire 720p movie without a glitch. That's why if Wasser can fix the stream to SDcard correctly, all we have to do is let it buffer for 15-30mins then watch, we shouldn't have any glitches. Hat off to Wasser!!! great job!!!

Be aware: it is your own risk!
Installation info:
1. run RKBatchTool--1.7.exe tool which is included in the zip file to flash the firmware
2. select the firmware image then click restore button to flash the firmware
please post your feedbacks, it's very important! and don't forget to report the firmware version you flashed
Let me first thank you for all the effort and time you put in your projects.
I'm a real newbie concerning android and was unhappy with the stock rom on my T-R42.
It was sold to me as an K-R42 with BT so imho it's an T-R42.
The pcb is V3.5 and since your rom should be for all versions I tried it.
I know you probably didn't think of a new version of pcb that soon, but I don't mind a small gamble.
It's fantastic, only lost the BT.
Nice smooth on the playback, navigating and all.
That is as long I have it connected with HDMI.
When I connect it over AV it's useless.
I don't want to be rude but booting takes 55 sec and navigating is hardly possible (for real).
I used the following settings for flashing
I can do without BT but the box was intended for use on an old tv without HDMI.
What do you think is the problem (perhaps the user?)
Do you think there is a way to get this fixed?
I made images of the stock rom
(backup.img, boot.img, kernel.img, misc.img, recovery.img and system.img).
I can dump them at a location of your linking if it will help you, or if you only interested.
If you need any additional information please let me know.
Thanking you in advance.
Grtz, John J.

Low FPS XBMC
Hi guys, new poster but been lurking all week since I got my T-R42.
I have flashed Wasser 1.2.4fw using the old 1080p kernel (new kernel BT/WiFi/Ethernet all don't work) BT/WiFi works but no Ethernet. In XBMC my resolution is 1080p but frame rate is 35fps and under. Making all playback slow and stutters. My CPU is set at 1.416ghz. Anyway to fix this? Or do I have to use the 720p kernel? Also these OC kernels are the based on the new or old version?
I will post pictures of my PCB later but its blue PCB with no model number on it.
Thanks for your hard work.

update. i flashex back to the 720p old kernel my fps is now 50-60 but cpu usage is 75% + constant. also my android desktop is sideways looks like a smartphone displau. the old 1080p kernel was okay.
the OC kernels didnt work for me. no moise support.
It seems the only kernel that works is 1080p old but v low frame rateWiFi and BT work but not Ethernet

In Settings the wifi and BT switches revert back to OFF after about 5 seconds, and when you try to switch on LAN Settings crashes to the home screen.
It's frustrating because the rom's great apart from that.
How do you open the box to find out what model you've got? I don't see any obvious way to get into it.
