Great if you need me to test anything just let me know, or if you need anymore dumps. What I find weird is that I could only get LAN working on one box, every other box that I tried I could get the wifi to work but not the LAN.

it sounds it's not the same revision. Could you please open the case and take a look which version you have ?

It's a B351 V2, I opened all my boxes the other day to make sure, I currently have 6 boxes, all of them are the new board.

I have your firmware 1.2.3 and work`s great, but I read is wi-fi signal is worst then stock firmware - is that true beacuse i don`t see any difference on display wi-fi strength in the bottom panel.

All -- for those of you with the v2.0 board, the stock FW was release by GeekBuying as well as instructions on how to identify if you have one

Maybe having the stock FW with kernel and drivers for all hardware nuances of this v2 board can be helpful to wasser on his custom kernel and FW.

I purchased my T-R42 from an aliexpress seller and it has not yet arrived, but good chances it will be the V2.0 board.

These T-R42s look exactly as this K-R42 reviewed by geekbuying, only being black.

On the back of the box, if you have a empty sticker plate its version 1.0. If that sticker plate actually has a sticker on it with a serial number that says "smart android box", it is version 2.0. In your case, it sounds like you have version 1.0
