Hello,
I had the same issues as yours with the t-r42 not booting but I manage to make it work by letting it hooked up by USB with the computer that performed the flashing. I then try to unplug the cable, and the device shut down, and when I plugged it again, it was working, even plugged on an other computer.
So finally, I have my t-r42 connected to a powered usb hub and it's working.
I hope this can help you.

I have just bought B351_BT and also have this problem.
1.2.2 run ok. I tried erase NAND but no helps.
My friend bought the same devices in the same supplier but one week early and he flashed 1.2.3 without any problem.

I believe there must be an issue with a new revision of the tr42. Does anybody think wasser could help us with this? Perhaps if we could provide some dump files or log files?

It's the 313.6MB. I'm not exactly sure if it's the very first version.
I only have 2 version the other one is 315.3MB.

I to just got a cs918b box tried flashing different roms. The ones that booted had no wifi ethernet or bluetooth so I think there is a new pcb version out there for these devices. I opened my box to see the pcb version and all I could see was b351 v2.0 which is different than other descriptions I have seen on this forum. I did find a chinese rom that works perfect for this box everything works good and even defaulted to english language. Here is the link:

Maybe one of the rom developers could have a look at this rom to see what is different because I would love to try one of the custom roms!!

I would like to add, after flashed 1.2.3 and push power button, there is no power on board (i pluged pendrive and diode in pendrve wasn't blinking)

Wasser. I think you should change release numeration to clarify. There is a mess between new and old 1.2.3 fw. Better way is "X.X.X.X" or "X.X.X-RCx". It's just proposal nothing personal.

Wasser, can you make a parameter file that increase the data partition to use almost all the nand flash, by reducing the sdcard partition to the minimum? I managed to extract all the files from your ROM's img, but I have no idea how to modify the parameter file to do this.


I'm thinking on purchase a USB HDD and mount it as internal sdcard, this way I can install several huge games (those with more than 1 GB of data, like Asphalt 8 and Fifa 14) simultaniously, manage my large video library (more than 5000 videos) with XBMC or Mizuu, and I'm going to have a lot of space to install any number of APKs in the data partition.

720p is accetable only, when i changed on 1280 the screen was crazy.
Do You have any another version for 2.0?
