    I think that
    rockchip vpu omx rk mediacodech not suport hw decoding mpeg2 and mpeg4 h264 ts files. thus rk3188 and new rk3288 not playing this format video (quality not enogh)
    amlogic 8726 m3/m6/m8 support this format vpu unit playing good.
    I wait to amlogic s812-h (has dvbpart) this cpu native linux xbmc, ubuntu, openlec and android.
    cpu, gpu and vpu driver of rockchip confidental and not puplic truely. thus bad support. but free developer assest this cpu. why?

                Big thanks to you Taki.

                I have downloaded your new tvheadend version, and I just copy the 6 files to /data/dvb

                But when I reboot, and open explorer (localhost:9981) doesn't appear nothing.

                Do I have to set permissions after copy the files or something like that ?

                Previous version (the one that is in the first post) works for me (not always but works).

                My device is a Minix Neo X7.

                Please help me,

                Best regards,

                    Hi, thanks a lot for your help.

                    In order to explain it for everyone (noobs like me also )

                    1. First post Original DATA/DVB folder:
                    libcrypto.so 842Kb
                    libssl.so 194 Kb
                    tvheadend 4403 Kb

                    2. First post Original SYSTEM/LIB folder:
                    nothing in the first post file

                    In order to update your recently compiled version:

                    libcrypto.so --> copy and overwrite to DATA/DVB
                    libcrypto.so.1.0.0 -->copy to system/lib
                    libiconv.so -->copy to system/lib
                    libssl.so --> copy and overwrite to DATA/DVB
                    libsslo.so.1.0.0 -->copy to system/lib
                    tvheadend --> --> copy and overwrite to DATA/DVB. CAUTION YOU HAVE TO STOP THE TVHEADEND SERVICE TO COPY THIS FILE

                    It's what I have done, and seems to work well, but I don't know how to check the tvheadend version

                    Is it ok ?

                    (only, please, what is exactly the command to stop tvheadend service so we can overwrite the file?. I know it is anything about kill, but I dont need because with some ticks my old version of tvheadend always crashs. This command is for other noobs that could read this post. I usually use "ADB WIFI - Debug Over Air" play strore app to know my IP and in case I will have to do any terminal command.

                    And one final question, in Configuration - DVB Inputs how have I to add again all my channels ? (before the update I have deleted all my .hts folder in order to begin the update from "0".

                    Best regards,

                    Comment

                      Now another problem, both with old version and with new version of tvheadend.

                      When I click in "media container" in Digital Video Recording config tab (where you have to write path for records, and so on), the list only displays "Loading ..." and the system log incorporated to Chrome says "There seems to be a problem with the live update feed from Tvheadend. Trying to reconnect..."

                      After that, I can't get into the web page again (nor from PC, nor from Minix X7 itself)

                      Does anybody know what is happening ? I understand that tvheadend "close itself" when I click "media container list", but why ?

                      I have ·clean" Official 010 rom.

                      Best regards,

                        download this zip, later unzip.
                        copy all uzipped files to ./hts folder.
                        dvr work

                        lates tvheadend (03.09.2014 master 3.9 xxx)
                        and no crash, only have driver problem

                          Hello there.
                          I'm trying to achieve operation to RTL2832U USB DVB-T stick on AllFine Fine9 Glory (RK3188, Kernel 3.0.36+, Android 4.2.2, rooted) tablets. Can you tell me which files I need and where can I get it? All links in this thread on the file are dead and I can not try or is even possible to watch live TV from DVB-T USB stick.
                          Can you help me?

                            Hi SaX,
                            You need to check following page for find device drivers.

                            Also, you need to check about companion chips in the stick. Normally you need 3 device drivers for Tuner, Demodulator, Bridge(USB Adapter).

                            Good Luck.

                              Since I am a beginner in Linux, I need more detailed instructions.
                              I looked around (googling) a little.

                                Hi Taki,

                                Thanks a lot, I think now I can do what I want.

                                I only need to record programs, sometime ago try to see trought XBMC but it's a bit diffult (you know), no HD channels, and ....

                                So now, I can record from TV when I am not at home, and also I can program records from my mobile !!! (see apps for controlling tvheadend and a Static IP address).

                                I will see this post in order to help everybody else and to see any other new version of tvheadend that you will publish.

                                Thanks a lot again.

                                It's very strange why you can record PERFECTLY (almost) a HD Channel but you can't see "on live" with our RK3188. (in my case, minix neo x7)

                                Cheers.
