NEOMODE CUSTOM ROM MK809III AP6210 Version 1.9a *UPDATE*

Hello MK809III Users,

After a Lot of People having Trouble run my Hybrid Rom on this Device,
I decided to split it off.

Here is now the Custom Rom for all Versions off the MK809III,
This means it's run on Hardware Version 1,2,3.
This is a 720p Rom no 1080p at the Moment I need a Stable Kernel.

What is inside ?

A Complete Custom Rom for the MK809III without China Apps.
The Rom´s comes with a Patched Kernel for better Performance.
Also included are the newest WI-Fi Driver for Best performance.

Android 4.4 Fonts
Android 4.4 Boot Animation
SPMC Media Center (XMBC Fork)
Open Explorer
Netflix
SuperUser *fixed*
Terminal Emulator
Init.d Support

Added Support for the following:

NTFS
CIFS
XBOX Controller

Have Fun with my Updatet Rom for the MK809III.
After Flash on the First Run wait 3 Minutes before you Shutdown the Stick.
This is needed that all Software will be installed.

Do you mean that this is a 720p Rom, also for the CX-919 V2, and that if I want 1080p, I will have to edit the Build.prop file and then set the video.overlay=1 ?


Do you think that is better to install in the CX-919, the normal Kernel or the Kernel2. img ?

Hello,

Test it with the normal kernel. When you get trouble switch to kernel2.
For 1080p it's right set to one and it should work.

Old or New wifi?

Hi, thank you for this firmware, actually I use the version 1 of your room and works excellent, so I have a question, when you say this work for hardware version 1,2,3 are you refer about the old and new wifi or to another thing? Thank you so much

Hi Neomode, many thanksfor your last rom.
I would to test it as soon as possible but I also would to proceed in the best way in order to set 1080p.
For this reason could you create a short guide from A to Z where are shown all steps to upgrade to 1.9 with 1080p option?
I've a mk809iii.

It is easy.
Load a Build.prop editor from Play Store.
Open it and change Video Overlay from 0 to 1.
That's all.

Ups, I'm a newbe. I'll try but a question.. why you decided to separate 2 roms version, I mean 720/1080p ?

What size should the download file be? I get 338mb but get errors when trying to open.

All that can happens is that the stick will not Boot.
May also it can be that Wifi not work.
To change to kernel 2 open RkUtil and change kernel.img to kernel2.img.
