Hi Neomode, is the build.prop edit for 1080p earlier in the thread still valid for 1.9a? I just tried and when I rebooted I got a corrupted video output and couldnt see enough on screen to switch it back.

Just a heads up this works almost perfect on the MK802IV (new chipset of course)

No it's not Works. 720p only @ the Moment.

No problem, if I substitute the supplied kernel for one of Sam's will that give me 1080p?

Also do you think these sticks will ever work smoothly with 1080p or do you think the RK3188 is just not up to it?

You can try it with Sam321 Kernel.
I have done some Test´s and not all Hardware Version´s with AP6210 works with sam321 Kernel.
But check it. The Rom has enough "Red Bull" to Fly ;-)

Version 1.7 and 1.8 showed up as Nexus 7 in the Google Play Store, and I was happy (more compatible). Version 1.9 shows up as Rockchip MK809III (which isn't my stick anyway). Can we have Nexus 7 back? Or Galaxy S3 (better for me)? Is there a way to change this in build.prop after the flash?

I can report back that I have tested hardware version v3 with Rom 1.9a and the Sam321 1080p 1.8Ghz and 1400Mhz memory kernel version and it works brilliantly, I don't know if it is Neomode's magic in 1.9a or the fact the kernel is overlocked but this is the first time my problematic high bitrate video file that I use to test has played properly without stuttering. And HDMI pass through finally. Happy days....

He have said that Version 1.7 and 1.8 showed up as Nexus 7 in the Google Play Store, and I think its better that way, because the compatibility with more APPs is higher...


So would greatly appreciate if you could set it again to NEXUS7... Sure after you get some sleep.

Did the same (with sam kernel) but stuck in a bootloop?! Just spinning circles. :-(
