Yes i have kernel3 then renamed it kernel.img to load with v1.9 rom. Size of kernel3 is 10,205 is that correct?

Yes i can confirm and that is 1080p .. but still having video blackout problems.. why I don't know . Actually i cannot see a entire video without screen blocking. .

Hi neo thanks for new kernel for 1.9 rom it is working fine wifi really strong and good download speed spmc working fine slight audio sync but no problem really. I can still only get 720p no full hd. I thought this kernel was 1080? still have popping sound even when audio set to hdmi passthrough, but when popping screen flickers so could be psu so will wait until i get a good 3A one

Hi, Could you explain me better what is screen flickers? During normal use of profuct the screen go in black state then reappears?

I can't understand why i have only got 720p thats the maximum option in screen settings? wierd, i have it plugged through an hdmi splitter but everything els is full hd the tv is a samsung 42" plasma 1080p screen my computer streams there in full hd. Will plug directly to the tv see if that changes anything...........
just tried plugging directly into the tv and still the same 1280x720

Hello from a newbie!
I'd like to patch my MK809III, but I need a step by step guide for beginners like I am.
I really don't know how to start and from what. I only know that I need to open my device to get the reset button.
If somebody could post a link to a guide I'll really appreciate it.

Another question: can I flash this fw to MK802IV AP6210 16G ? If yes - how ?
Should I replace kernel ? If yes - which kernel I have to use ?

Are there any instructions/table - which kernels corresponds to which device ?

PS. Still waiting for ver1.9 for MK802IV AP6210

you haven't got to open your device you have a hole in the side push a paper clip in and connect to your pc using your micro usb lead from the micro usb on the side of the device then load usb drivers open rom and erase idb and flash "viola" job done

Ok without hdmi adaptor no problem. . All ok with 1080p. The 1.9a go very good.. so please gift all chinese adaptor and buy another one more efficient... the only good product is mk stick

ok update tried on my son's vistron 32 fullhd and it works in full HD so something about my samsung fullHD plasma 42" tv that the rom or mk809iii doesn't like.......wierd

This is by far the most stable and enjoyable ROM for my stick that seams to be some clone of the MK908 with AP6210. Non of the roms for the MK908 work with it for some reason but this roms works realy well. I would love to be able to overclock it to 1900mhz with ram at 1500 and GPU at 600 with the 1080p Kernal. I have had it running with an other kernal at this setting for some time but with no WIFI drivers in that kernal for the AP6210. Would it be possible to release a few fully overclocked kernal based on this one. Thanks realy great work .

Unfortunately it seems my device (as others from some resellers) has a "fake" hole; probably it is shifted a little bit and when I push a paper clip I only touch some metal inside.

Play Store (again)

Hi Neomode,

Are you working on making the device show up as Nexus 7 or SGS3 in the Play Store (for compatibility)? If not, is that something that can be done by editing build.props? Can you give instructions for how to do it?
