All that can happens is that the stick will not Boot.
May also it can be that Wifi not work.
To change to kernel 2 open RkUtil and change kernel.img to kernel2.img.

I am Sorry for asking you again, but in the packet there are 3 Kernel files with the following names:

Kernel.img
Kernel1.img
Kernel2.img

Do you mean that if I have trouble, I should use/test one by one, until the BOOT Process and Wifi both works OK?

Since, I have been using the last 1.8 ROM without any BOOT or Wifi Problems... With your big experience, which of these Kernel files you recommends me to use with my CX-919 v2, or you may think it should work better?

Thank you very much for this ROM. I just downloaded it and will try it out later at home. I have a mk809iii with AP6210 and the wifi was very weak. Version 1.7 of this rom worked very good for me. Version 1.8 not so well. I hope version 1.9 will work as good as 1.7.

you will have my feedback as soon as I install the ROM at home.

I should use Kernel2.img first and if it works, then I should flash again with Kernel.img, to have more speed?


In that case, you recommends that I should leave the package how it comes originally without modufiying nothing, and flash my CX-919..


That way it will automatically select kernel.img, that you say it is faster?...

Installed rom, so far so good, but no root, also tried changing overlay from 0 to 1 but needed reboot and reboot would not work.

You should have Root Run Superuser for one time and it go.
The other one I must proof.

Could be also because I'm giving power with a Pc usb port ? here I haven't the external psu.
I think that I have a MK809III third edition

Hi Neomode, tried also with kernel2 always black screen.. I don't know why all roms uploaded using RKDevelopTool too give same error, only works for my MK809III the roms uploaded with ROM_Flash_Tool_137 and "recovery button.. I'm on mistake?

tried the first kernel booted ok and wifi and BT working fine. but xbmc clone and xbmc crashed and then wierd things started happening and kept crashing and rebooting. tried running antutu but kept crashing and rebooting

Then tested Kernel1.img
installed fine and wifi and BT everything works fine. But, xbmc and xbmc clone audio is out of sync. Now i do not know if this is the rom or xbmc but thought i would just let you know my findings.
Do you think xbmc would improve if i loaded kernel2.img
Ran antutu stability and all was fine

What's product have? why I see only a black screen when I connect my MK809III with 1.9 image?
