A piece of the specs from pipo.cn site : also called the manufacturer

      Display:*9.7", 2048*1536 *IPS (4:3)
      ● Touch Panel: Capacitive 10-touch
      ● CPU: Rockchip 3188 Cortex A9,1.6GHz,Quad-core CPU+Quad-core GPU
      ● RAM: 2GB DDR3
      ● Operation System: Android 4.2
●*Camera: Front 2M, back 5M auto focus, flashlight
      ● WiFi: 802.11b/g/n
      ● Internal 3G built-in: Optional (data only)
      ● External 3G support: Yes
      ● ...etc etc

      WIFI: b/g/n !
Now 802.11a is indeed the 5Ghz band but only b/g/n is noted in the specs so tell me again why it should be dualband ?

If you find a site that advertises something else, then go and ask there why but the manufacturer doesnt specify the capability of 802.11a so.....good luck with your mission.

Thank you for your care. See the specs on the Chinese site or all the official shops yourself.

          Hey...ur right..on the original chinese version site there's still noted 802.11 a/b/g/n.
Now that's a good one...on the english version of the site, the specs for wifi there is 802.11b/g/n.
Mhm...i wonder if there are M6pro's that are NOT exported and maybe do have 802.11a ?

            1.5 versus Bluetooth Compatability??

I have RR 1.5 on my M6 Pro, and am quite satisfied with it. I recently purchased a tablet case that include a with a Blue Tooth keyboard (M-Edge Stealth). The keyboard uses BT version 3.0, and the M6 is BT 4.0. I realize that 4.0 is supposed to be downward compatible but I can't pair the keyboard with the tablet. I'm wondering if this has any relationship to RR 1.5 or is there an issue with the M6; or the keyboard? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and Happy New Year to all. Jim

Hi, I wrote earlier that I have checked extensively regarding 5Gz band.
It is not working on this device though.
Checked in parallel with other devices which receive wifi from my dual band router Asus rtn66u; with both 2.4 Gz and 5 Gz.
Almost all Apple devices have it, some samsungs, too- unfortunately not ours- PIPO Max M6 Pro 3g.

This is my version of pipoM6 firmware. Every thing was made by myself using materials from this and other forums.

Last version based on new stock firmware 1.1.3.

                    1. Debloated
                    2. Rooted
                    3. Installed busybox
                    4. Init.d support enabled
                    5. Added libraries for VPN
                    6. You can preinstall apps from external sd-cart (you need folder "autoinstall")
                    7. CWM Recowery will be installed on firts boot
                    8. Minor changes in build.prop (russian language, Moscow timezone, etc)
                    9. Changed libril-dataonly.so for True Deep Sleep in 3G models
                    10. Default space for user apps increased to 8GB (you can change it with extra_parameter files)
                    11. Added application for reboot, chrome
                    12. GAPPs Updated to 25.12.2013

PS: i don't used 900's and etc kitchens, i prefer write scripts by myself.
PSS: by the way you can find my firmware similar with riley, thats why i wait for new version of stock before putting it here.
PSSS: everything I made - I made for myself

                    download last version here
