If not, type su <ENTER then type insmod /system/lib/modules/tun.ko <ENTER> lsmod again to check tun loaded successfully, then try your vpn again. Working now?

edit: I just tried myself, and the tun module does not load autmatically at startup as I thought it should. My openvpn client does load the module, but it looks like hotspot shield doesn't. Let me get back to you with a way of getting that module loaded at startup.
I installed the new ROM with the tun module, and using VPN One Click. It tries to obtain the IP address, configure and then stops. It won't connect. Any ideas would be very appreciated!

edit: I just went through the process you suggested with terminal emulator. I manually loaded the tun module, and I was able to connect with VPN One Click.
Does this mean I have to manually load the tun module each time?

Yes for now install the module manually after each reboot and tomorrow I will post the instructions for the module to install automatically at startup.

OK, here you go for automating the process:

        With ES Explorer 3:
        0) switch on root explorer in the tools menu in the side panel
        1) go back to the properties of tun.ko file in /system/lib/modules and make sure the owner is root. If not change ownership to root (you will need to mount /system as RW again). Also double check the permissions are correct as per previous instructions. Remount /system as RO if necessary and switch off root explorer.
        3) Download and install Script Manager - smanager from Google Play
        4) Run smanager - no need for root browsing or add-ons as offered on startup
        5) On the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, click the three dots and select "new script". Name the script whatever you want, selectSM Editor when prompted and type the following line below the top line of text:

        insmod /system/lib/modules/tun.ko <ENTER>

        6) Click the three dots in the bottom navigation bar and press "save". Exit the editor by pressing the X at the top right of the screen.
        7) Scroll down in the main smanager window to find the file you just created, long press it and press "open as" -> Script/Executable
        8) Tick on "su" and "boot", so that your script will execute as root at boot time. Save and exit smanager with the back button.
        7) Reboot, and go to terminal emulator, lsmod to check that the tun module was installed correctly at startup. From now on it should install automatically every time you boot.

This did the trick! You've really helped me so much. I now have a TV box that works! NV

Edit: the tun module doesn't boot up now. It did the first couple of times, but today, I had to reload it manually and the the VPN connected.

I don't See it in the standard wallpapers of google nexus wallpapers. My Galaxy ace2 with cm11 hasn't it too. Checked in youtube for this wallpaper, but KitKat+nexus got no match.

I didn't found it around Google nexus wallpapers. Thats all I wanted to say.
If you have a Rom with this wallpaper, could possible take it out.

                    Cs968 root

                    Hi guys

i need your help. I have a cs968 box from geekbuying and I want to root it but I'm on a Mac. Is there a way to do it from an external disk or usb? I'm new to the android system so I would appreciate a step by step guide.

                    thanks a lot

I don't see drivers for the Mac, but if you can find rk3188 divers for the Mac, then it might could be done ...

Thank you Tech1 for your reply. I can run windows through Mac, so I’m thinking about it. I would prefer to root the device over usb or external disk. The problem is that I can't make a backup because I don't have admin's permissions. Is there any app for backup? If something goes wrong how can I go back to the current rom (always keep in mind that I'm on a Mac)? Thank you again

                              NTFS support

The ROM works perfectly. Good job.

But it does not have USB NTFS Disk support.

I have my media Collecting in a USB 2TB hard drive with power supply with NTFS.
                              (jpg, mp3 , mkv ect)

When I connect it, the CS968 can not detect. It does not work.

I tried applications APK, like PARAGON or OTG HELPER etc., without success

Someone can tell me a solution? or tracks to do for NTFS?.

Thanks in advance and greetings from Spain

Use the PS3 Server to access your external storage or use the NFS via the XBMC, give it a test run ... You can find the upscale PS3 Media Server HERE http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...title-Settings ....
