This is by far the most stable rom for the Ugoos UT1!
I just packed a full m2ts blu-ray stream in an mkv container (not reencoded) and played that in mx player. It had an 28000kbps bitrate and it played from beginning to end without any stutterings!

I'm gonna stick with this rom!
      Thanks for this one wasser!

nice one, thanks wasser! will try it out. glad to see theres still rom development for the UT1. this should work with any kernel then? wasnt the 24hz issue a kernel and not a rom issue though?

        *EDIT*

im getting a "Download file failed, RUN failed" error at the end of the flashing process. ive downloaded the above img twice. im using the Rileyrom 1.1 settings in the flashtool, only changing the rom (boot) this one and the kernel to the one from wasser in the 24p thread (ive tried an overclocked kernel as well, same results). am i doing something wrong here?

Which tool is needed to flash this img-file?

Can somebody give me a short description, please?

          Best regards

you need RKBatchTool.zip to flash this firmware.
info to flash step: after you select the image file, you have to click the button "restore" to flash the firmware!

thanks again wasser, that tool did the trick. looks like a great rom! one question though, what remote android app are you using? the one that came with the ugoos doesnt recognize the device anymore.

most 1080p movies ive tested seem to run fine, which is a first really excellent. if you want i can post some mediainfo files of the ones that still give problems, but these seem to be a minority.

another thing is the status-bar: i remember an 'auto-hide system bar' option in previous roms, that seems to be gone?

                  Hi Wasser,
I've loaded this on my K-R42 (TN-BX09_V2.1 CH001, 1329) as it seems the UT1 ROMs run really well on it. Would you be able to create some overclocked kernels for it? xbmc doesn't seem to be able to keep up with 1080P films - I think overclocking the GPU would do the trick. Someone call ibazzi posted an overclocked firmware at cou1800_ddr720_gpu600 but on my box it won't load stable every time (it will occasionally boot but mostly not).
I tried overclockomatic from the kernel extracted from your image, but it won't patch it.
If you can help, I'd really appreciate it!!
                  Thanks,
                  Matt

the remote problem is known and will be fixed in next release.
auto-hide system bar feature is missing in this firmware, could be added in next release.

i don't recomment the overclocked kernel, the system will be instable. 1080p works perfect in mxplayer. if it doesn't work well in xbmc then it's the problem in xbmc. I will take a look at xbmc soon.

Thanks Wasser - appreciate your advice. I think you're right - I tried a few different kernels yesterday that I patched from the original chinese - overclocking anything resulted in instability...

                          Great

Just tested your new firmware on my Ugoos ut1. In my opinion this is the best firmware available for the ugoos. I mainly use the Ugoos for media streaming. 1080p videos run smoothly with the default videoplayer.

Running XBMC is a no go (used the original apk from xmbc) ... Stil in version 12.3 there is video stuttering.

What is the best xmbc version to run on android ?

Again thnx for the great firmware !

                          Regards

please don't use 12.3, it does't support hw gpu. I recomment to install the nightly xbmc

i tested it and 1080p works very good.

                            please give a try

Thnx for the replay Wasser! I just tested and installed the original xbmc apk from ugoos
The 720p works fine and 1080 to!
Maybe you can use it in your rom :

Link of the official ugoos xbmc

Thnx for the help and great work!
