@VINNY - I'm guessing you put your box into flash mode first? Push the reset button with a paper clip while powering on and the box will install the correct drivers - with otg connected to your pc.

I have been using it (1.2.5, 1080p kernel) on my UT1 for an hour now, internet connection on ethernet and WiFi is good, had no issues streaming HD content. It is relatively stable, no crashes.
Got a score of 16030 on AnTuTu.

@wasser, would you be able to make an overclocked kernel for the UT1?, maybe a slight overclock on the CPU from 1.4Ghz to 1.6GHz.

This is stock clocked at 1.6.....

I tried that first but was getting a driver installation error every time.Tried manually updating the drivers but windows keeps telling me that the drivers are not x64 compatible.

I guess you will have to try all the usual steps, different port, usb 2 not 3 and you may need to uninstall previous drivers. Could even be the cable - but one thing is clear - this is the only real way to flash it. I have windows 7 x64 and have no issues so it can be done. Good luck!

I managed to get the drivers installed on another laptop.Again the reset/power thingy wasn't working so I did it manually.Loaded up the RKAndroid tool and got totally lost,was left with a black screen and nothing would start.Got things going again by installing 1.24 via the batch tool,although I didn't realize that it would wipe everything on the device .So used to flashing roms on my mobile and restore my apps afterwards.Now all I need to know is how to use thr RK tool and I'll be flying again

@pablo11, CPU-Z is reporting the CPU frequency as 1.4GHz, could it be incorrect?

@Vinny1967, there is a readme file included with Wasser's firmware. You need to press on 'EraseIDB' in the RK Android Tool and once that is done press on 'Run'. If you do not have the kernel and boot files in the right place with the correct names, you will get a notification saying that the boot or kernel file is missing.

Setcpu claims that it's running at 1.6. Same with stock. I always set the governor to performance to keep it up.

Getting lockups with 1.25 on both the 1080 and 720 kernels. Happens pretty predictably when playing games. GTA:SA, Order and Chaos, MW4 will all cause a lockup (vertical red lines and loud screeching from speakers followed by reboot) within a couple of minutes if not almost instantly.

Watching video (local or streamed) works fine.

Is there a special order the files have to be in when flashing ?.I keep getting "loaderfile is not existed "error but all the files seem to be there.Do I have to enter addresses into the Nfs and Ram tabs aswell ?.Sorry for the noob questions

You have to select the boot loader screen in image file. 720p or 1080p (This is option under kernal)
