Edit: Downloads fine in Chrome but the image name is K-r42-old_revison. Is this based off old firmware?

4.4.2
Hey Wasser,
Great work on this one! Really looking forward for the remote app to work...
I saw Android 4.4.2 SDK is available for RK3188. You think this will work on our UT1?
Thanks in advance

Hi wasser and thank you for the excellent ROM.
I am writing a review of your WasserROM and I have two questions:
1. Is there some way to toggle normal navigation and cursor mode? Some apps require "touch" so it is impossible to use 100% with physical remote control in normal navigation mode.
2. I think it identifies itself as Samsung Galaxy S3 to get all apps from Google Play. However I could not get it to find NBA Game Time app from Google Play. I even reverse engineered NBA Game Time app with apktool to see what requirements there are for the device in AndroidManifest.xml but I could not find any special requirements that would prevent it from installing.
My review will be a continuation of my Ugoos UT1 review:

1. I just learned that I can use USB mouse + keyboard so it eases navigation and typing a lot.
2. I believe the restriction comes from the UT1 identifying itself as a tablet. When I tried to spoof it as Samsung Galaxy S3 with Market Helper it found the NBA Game Time app.
I also replaced the default launcher with Nova to get rid of the top Google search bar.
A new question: Shoud the shut down button work? If I press it, it just starts the "busy loader icon" but it does not shut it down.
Anyway, thank you for the great work.

xbmc close but no cigar
latest nightly of android xbmc gotham, does indeed have libstagefright, but it still stutters slightly. im going to try the original xbmc for the ugoos posted earlier in this thread. rom looks nice, is snappy, looking forward to the remote patch!!! ill also have a chat over at xbmc and see if there is a build they recommend that plays nice. as the gotham alphas are kinda buggy, as to be expected. but anywhoo thanks for the rom and the effort involved. this rom looks very promising if you continue development. cheers!

it's available for k-r42 and the firmware works for Ut1, because the hardware is the same.

Thanks wasser for the great firmware for the UT1.
Testing a custom XMBC from Flumpster which works great:
Only problem I had was with HD movies, would play fine for a few minutes then freeze causing it to reboot, I solved it by loading the kernel from Randy's rom 1.1.
Thanks to all for making the UT1 a better box.
