Ugoos UT1 - wasser firmware - JB Android 4.2.2

I'm not sure if this is rom related or its a problem with the box, but every time I boot up the date and time have changed. Today it went back to 1/01/1970. As you know that when date and time are wrong in Android, almost nothing works right. I don't mind having to reset now and then but it's a bit annoying having to do it every day. Anyone else had this problem?

Me too. I think it's rom related, because I remember I didn't find this problem in 1.2.4 rom.

Hey Wasser,
Thanks for this firmware! It's much better than original one. I've installed 1.2.5. It's very stable except one thing. Ethernet connection sometimes drops for a few seconds. I use my ugoos to watch movies from samba shared folder and when connection is lost - video freezes. I've tryed DHCP settings and static ip configuration - nothing helped. Never had this kind of problems with my previous android tv box.

Yep i think this is what happened on my device as well: streamed a 720p movie from my Synology NAS, and it froze after about 40 and 80 minutes...

But other than that, excellent rom wasser, thanks for the effort!

i cannot reproduce this problem with 1.2.5. It work fine for me. Please check your setting on router

Shame. Any reason? Nothing new? I must admit I could not get the kernel extracted but I was using windows. I guess a Linux OS could extract it.

I'm using kaiboer F4 which is called Ugoos UT1 outside of China.
Last night I flashed the wasser 1.2.5.
-Faster.It's faster than official version 2.1.6 rom.
-The same as official rom,the sidebar is not clear，the official is whole UI，1.2.5 is the sidebar.
-Crash.when I click to load apps,suddenly,it crashed.It shows no response,the screen still light,s moment later,it powered off.Must manually to power on.It crash on some high loads like open apps ,open new tab in brower.
-Browser.I use dolphin browser.The page is too lagrge,I mean it's good for people who use ut1 as tv box.But I use it as a PC,it shows too less things in my 24' displayer Dell U2414h.In some occasion,like ajax page the ajax popup dialog window always in the middle ,but it's too large to show ,so I can not read the whole window,some bottons can't click.
-Any intergrated apps like monitoring cpu ram network.

BTW,I am expecting the rom kikat,your latest ver is 0.9.4,expecting 1.0.0!

Hi guys first I would like to thank wasser, flumpster and all other hard workers with ut1 progress. Secondly I had the same issues of loosing network connection not 100% sure why. The network connection would go from blue to white and on my router I would loose connection on that port to ut1. The strange thing is this only happened while I was in xbmc. This happened with version 1.2.4 and also finless 1.6 but I don't think it is a rom issue. I saw this problem mostly using 3.1 BXBMC, when 3.2 BXBMC was released caused many problems for me. Now I am on 1.2.5 and 3.3 BXBMC and very happy. Had issues with SAMBA shares in XBMC only but seam to have sorted that out now. What I did do is uninstall and delete cache everytime I upgrade XBMC. I dont think you should be looking at the router as a problem because I changed nothing external to the UT1 and now is working like a dream with wasser 1.2.5, 1080p kernel and BXBMC 3.3. This would be great. Have you found how to extract the kernel from the stock firmware? The latest I have for the F4 is PUBLIC-3188-2.0.8_V02

RK remote control app not working

First I want to thank Wasser for this great firmware 1.2.5. I need help with the RK remote control app it doesn't find the UT1. It used to work with Finless Rom. I tried to copy and paste copy Generic.kl and rkxx-remotectl.kl from the post but I couldn't because I got an error message. What can I do?. Please your help.

Find and download the eHomeMediaCentre apk and install it on the UT1. The remote app should recognise it and work.
