Unable to start QX2, asking for password

After almost one year with this BETA version suddenly I can't start my Imito QX2.
I get the instruction to "Type password to decrypt storage" but I have never encrypt.
Is it the only way to restart from the beginning and reload this BETA version or some type of reset?
I have a USB keyboard.
Can anyone help me?

Iv seen this problem before I think it can only be fixed by a reflash but don't quote me on that

I just flash this ROM to my CX 919, when I brows or search something, keyboard layout does not pop up because I have my Tronsmart mouse over connected.

Go to Language and Input, and switch hardware keyboard OFF, then you can use both your remote and on screen keyboard .

Thanks man, BUT for some reason the setting is not permanently saved. After every restart I have to do it again. It's a bit frustrating. ?

2 cx919s with no hdmi signal

Hey there,

I have two cx919s due to an accidental double order. The first worked initially, I had it plugged into my TV for power and it lasted about two months before I got the infamous "no HDMI signal". It's not the T.V., I've checked that HDMI is working via my computer. I flashed Finless 1.5 first, and it worked for a few weeks, then the signal gave out again. At this point I switched to the external 2A power supply and tried 1.6b, then 2.0 stock kernel and over clocked kernel; again initially they worked, but after some time, weeks down to days, the HDMI signal eventually gives out. Reflashing would always resurrect it until now

So I tried my other device which until now has been sitting in it's box untouched, plugged it in and got no HDMI signal from the stock image. I tried flashing Finless 2.0 with an over clocked 1080p kernel and still get no HDMI signal. If @Finless is still looking in on this thread, any chance we could do some remote debugging. I'd be most grateful.

Last time i istalld the KitKat 4.4.2 BETA and wonder if there are any upgrades now. I read about a possble patch for 1080p when it was released. I also have the problem described in #671 to save keyboars settings.
My QX2 was much better with this version, thanks Bob

Thank for the ROM Bob, fast and good-looking. However, I have faced an issue which was not present in 1.6b:

When multiple hard drives (2x WD Elements 2TB with their own adapters) are plugged into an USB hub, the device only recognizes and mounts one of them. If is connect one after the other, the second one is not mounted. Tried changing the hub, same result

Same issue here, only one mounted USB drive will show up at any time!?

Anyone else noticed this or solved this issue?
