I have no slowness with Kit katt but I do have issues wth google play app not working. Will reflashing tomorrow see how it goes

I'm still finding courage to flash the 4.4.2 finless rom.. becoz a lot of users report sluggish UI, and not always correction of the flickering and black-out problem (I only have this problem with the Sony's HT: BDV-E985W)..

Hi Carlos!, thanks for sharing your experience. Kitkat 4.4.2 seems to be much faster and snappier for me with all the ROMs I have tried. The blackout problem (video that I recorded with the blackout http://youtu.be/uwsTG0I5aZI) seems to be specific to my CS968 and no one else with the same MOBO have reported this. So I feel it might be my TV (chinese Hisense brand )...Tonight, I will test with my bedroom TV and see how it goes.

The latest D33 Kitkat 4.0 kernel was the first one without any frequent blackout (saw one in an hour or so but much better than before).

How did your 4.4.2 flashing go?

This is a beta so sound didn't work correctly.

Use one of the tronsmart roms they are fixed and you can par them with a kernel that works for you.

Good to know your experiences too!! And seems you're right! KK disapointed me.. when I tryed the "original" finless rom 2.0 kk 4.4.2 .. antutu showed me just 12000 points.. (i checked with cpuz that my rk3188 was only 1.2Ghz)...
So I kept my 1.5a (antutu 18400) and tried the good rkpatchomatic by phjanderson.. me best result was using 1700 on cpu, stock on gpu and 667 on ddr... then i got 18759. (I like 1.5 becoz it has all I need.. and shutdown, vol and full screen buttons).
Well.. the curiosity spoke louder.. so I tried the 4.4.2 with the new kernels suggested by Magnus33 (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...8well-most!%29). And good news... even in 1080p (i always used 720p)... it recognized my mk908II with 1.6ghz and antutu happily showed me 19018!! Now I can carry on with you question... tonight I'll do some more tests.. and try to overclock just a little like the 1.5a.
And about the blackout.. I'm wondering if the PSU can really be the problem.. becoz all the million roms I tried never show me a stable image (tried 2A and 2.1A PSUs).. but i noticed that when I start the MK908II naked... the flickering is less than when I connect the USB dongle (for mouse and keyboard).. that means.. when the PSU has more childrens to feed. I will try to find a 5A (or above 2 or 3A), ok??
And thanks for the D33 Kitkat 4.0 kernel info!! Plz.. where did you find it??

OTG port is working.

I plugged in the mouse OTG port.

How can I active the other USB Ports.

Hi Finless, great ROM. I need your help, I want to modified a stok MK902 KK rom to make it 1080p but I think they changed the binary, to you have a binary patch to enable real 1080p?

the flash tool should work but I'm not sure I've seen any report of anyone getting the drivers for the device working win8.

Thanks for this awesome ROM (adult beverage is in your inbox). I'm using this ROM and one of D33's and noderat's OC kernels on my CX919 that I bought last summer. I consistently get Antutu scores well over 22,000. This is the first combination that I've found that completely removed the screen blanking on my old HD ready plasma TV. I have only encountered a couple of issues so far - by default, keyboard hardware is always on, and since normally don't use keyboard hardware, every time I boot I must modify that setting. Also, the link to Google contacts is broken. I'm sure you are aware of these two relatively minor issues.

Do you plan to update this awesome ROM?
