I'll really consider the odroid for my next project. For now I'll try to make the best out of this little guy, tbh I didn't plan to do any dreamcast emulation from the beginning
My final goal is now, as said earlier, to have the cx919 perform close to 100% for the N64.
Up next is to learn how to achieve custom OC!

I have a CX-919 and I don't think there is any temp sensor integrated in the chipset that can be read, how about yours? I'm using a external mounted fan and I'm planning to OC my stick to galaxy S4 performance.
Yes, its difficult to quantify. But I take it dangerously hot if it feels very hot in my hands. In my case, it was a bit hot (with this ROM/D33 kernel) than warm (with stock ROM). No sensor on mine too, I believe.
I wanted to see where have you soldered the fan and if you screwed/glued the fan to the stick.
My stick seems to be unstable if Max is kept @1.8GHz, so I would not go beyond 1.6GHz I think. I also saw similar problems to somebody else who reported stick with no signal if left alone for some time.
Got Antutu score of 19055 with max @1.6 GHz. Not sure if the GPU/RAM is oc'ed in this HD kernel of D33.
Yours is stable @ such high Antutu score?Tronsmart Orion R68 Meta

Just tested the v3.00 kernel and scored 22500, not sure if it's the lower res screen that did it, gonna redo it at my tv when I'm home
Yes, it's very much stable since I can run Reicast for as long as I want, I should maybe do the stability test i Antutu to be sure?
Regarding the fan mod: I have not secured it yet (only glued the cables after soldering). The fan is 'pushed' into place in the squared hole I cut out in the housing. I'm waiting for a high quality 0.5mm thick and sticky thermal pad that will hold it on place.

What could be the difference between our sticks?
Could it be overheating? Try w/o casing.PIPO-P1@1.6GHz

I hope it works out for you, also there is a "T"-version of D33's v3.00 kernel as well, tried it?PIPO-P1@1.6GHz

But even with a 720p kernel with this rom I suffered, has i said before, some random shutdown... and over night the dongle turns off... or the screen turned off having no hdmi signal. Maybe I choosed badly the kernel... but for know I'll wait for more stable CX-919v2 Rom's & XBMC gotham also to be a stable release before changing everything to kitkat again.Nikon D80 Photographer

I too noticed that XBMC isn't very stable in KitKat, for me a stream can suddenly stop and crash to 'desktop' at anytime. Have you noticed this as well? That's the only problem I've ever encountered so far.PIPO-P1@1.6GHz

I tried both Finless and Neomode 4.4.2 kitkat roms and hadn't stability ... one of the reasons may be the kernel... but for what I know the core of kitkat have their one bugs that are soon to be corrected by 4.4.3 update.Nikon D80 Photographer

Hi, i have a cx 919 with a 3188T.
Yesterday, i have installed the rom kitkat for T428, nothing i having a black screen.
I have test with this rom with kernel_AP6210_V300, kernel_t_ AP6210_HD_CIFS.
The rom is ok with my cx 919, the wifi is speed, it's all ok.
On my tv, it was too small, so i have installed the kernel_t_ AP6210_SD_CIFS!
My dongle stay blocked on finless 1.7.
I having reinstalled with kernel_t_ AP6210_HD_CIFS, and the cx 919 stay blocked on the writting in red finless 1.7.
What is solution for the kitkat with my cx-919 3188t?

2. For AP6210 with a TV Stick use one of these V3.0 KitKat kernels
3. Remember, If you wish to revert to a Jelly Bean ROM then you MUST tick the box for the v1.0x loaderMeasy U4B (=Tronsmart T428) used by my kids!
