Hi - thanks for your reply. I'm not quite sure what you mean by no volume controls? I will be using this with the Sony LCD TV in the bedroom so it won't have a surround amp hooked up to it. Will I not be able to use the volume control on the TV?? Also should I use the AP6210-alt or the regular AP6210? Which kernel should I use - I just want a stable video playback with no flickering, reboots, or lockups and I have no need to overclock it - so which kernel will make that happen please?

Choose V3.0 for TV Sticks, and you want to use AP6210 (Fixed). I run the OC kernel and it helps a lot with smooth video play and unlocks the low performance T chip to give you an actual 1.6Ghz processing speed rather than being locked at 1.4Ghz. My MK908ii TV stick doesn't get hot at all just warm and runs great.

The issue with sound control is a bug in the Beta ROM, and I keep hoping Finless with come out with a final version of it with the fix. Your TV volume will work just fine, but the internal volume control of the system goes from off to full, this doesn't allow you to change the volume in the software at all, so just leave it at 100% and use your TV to control the volume as I do with a receiver.

This one is developed for our processors and runs flawlessly on my system. I even stream HD video from my home cloud drive with it and it's perfect.

It checks for external memory cards (which it can't find naturally) and then the boot stops at the green Android icon that has a red triangle with and exclamation mark inside the triangle?? Any ideas???

I know the one issue I had was the ability to erase the NAND memory. I downloaded the TWRP recovery program and I used it to erase the NAND partition, but this was after I installed the ROM, then cleared the NAND memory after rebooting to recovery using the TWRP program. It made sure that the NAND ram was clear, then I reloaded the ROM, Kernel, and TWRP recovery again knowing the memory was clear. It loaded just fine. Make sure to follow the instructions provided by Finless in the text file.

You can find the TWRP recovery program at the link below if you want to go through trying that. It's a bit more difficult to get installed than a ROM, but I got it through using the supplied loader with the ROM.

Hi guys. I tried and failed to flash my CX919 V2 with http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...nless-ROM-1-6b. Result was that I bricked it. I blame Windows 8, or the USB ports on my PC (For some reason my bios won't show up on my (tv) screen). Anyway, I thought all was lost, found out about the pin 8-9 trick, used a different PC and hey presto, still failed to get that ROM working! No HDMI out.

Now I'm successfully using the ROM on this thread. Finless patched some 1080p kernels (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...KitKat-2-0-ROM), does anyone know they work this ROM?

I have tried several roms on my device, an the only once which actually worked for me is PureXBMC and Finnless Kitkat.
I'm now in finnless kitkat, and I only have one problem, which also are quite fatale. My WIFI can't turn. It's the same for both pureXBMC and finnless kitkat.
I can see that this rom is for wifi AP6210. Do I have another one ?

But anyhow this does not lead to any solution.
Just found out mine has the rk3188-t chip. Does it mean mine is a clone and I can't use any of the custom roms in here?

No the t chip does not mean clone,,The 1.6b rom is a great rom

Hello, guys. Almost everything is perfect with this ROM. Apart from volume control and RKRemote, my only problem is that physical keyboard gets enabled at every boot and I have to deactivate it to use the popup android keyboard every single time. Is there any way to permanently deactivate this choice in order to use a single wireless mouse and internal software keyboard?

after that trie the cx-919 never show image on my tv. I searched and found the cx919_422_finless_16b kit and tried to load the ROM and after flashing with the ROM_Flash_Tool_137 with all the preferences pre determined on the kit the result was the same... no signal.

found the ap6210_kitkat_finless20_beta2 and flash the ROM with the flash tool included





the result of the flash attempt was success. but my TV still doesn't recognise any HDMI signal, I'm using the power adaptor that came with the stick, already test the hdmi port...

please help me...

In your position I would try the official kitkat rom for cx 919..

Apps forget settings

For some reason some apps keep forgetting settings after reboots. The icons on launcher desktop dissappear after reboot. Google play resets, and starts updating apps, while I set it to not update automatically.

I already tried re-installing apps, deleting /data/data/com.android[app] dirs, reflashing rom. Nothing does help. This also happened with other ROMS. Any ideas?
